Quest Sports Travel is a sports travel operator for schools and fans in various sports such as soccer, field hockey, baseball, softball, and volleyball. Established in 2005, the company organizes group trips in the US and overseas. Quest was looking for a booking and trip management platform, beyond just a simple payment processor for its clients, to help the company promote and manage the trips.

Why WeTravel?

Problem

Q: How did you collect payments from your travelers before you started using WeTravel?

A: We have used a couple of different online registration and payment providers over the last decade. They were not a perfect fit for our needs because they were geared towards sports clubs while we are travel professionals who happen to focus on sports travel. They could often be confusing for our customers and somewhat cumbersome to use. They had no promotional benefit either. They were simply a registration and payment portal.

Q: How has this problem been solved by WeTravel?

A: WeTravel is not just a registration and payment portal. It allows us to create trip proposals for potential clients easily. The presentation is far superior to our former PDF-based format. Additionally, customers have been impressed by having all the trip information in one site that they can access anytime since the platform is mobile-friendly.

Q: How have your team and customers reacted to using WeTravel?

A: The appearance of the presentation in a web-based format has improved our proposal format tremendously. It is especially beneficial at presentation meetings where potential customers can access the proposal on their phones as we are talking. Proposals are being better received than before and we are expecting a higher conversion rate of proposals to sales.
