3-Day Inner Greatness Women's Retreat

Reconnect, recharge, and discover inner peace with simple yet powerful tools that helped me through even the toughest of times (including my battle with stage-4 cancer!). ✨ Born from my personal experience as a Stage-4 cancer survivor, Cancer with Kindness was created to share the life-changing tools and wisdom I gained throughout my journey. The unexpected diagnosis shook me, but through positivity and inner strength, I kept moving forward.It’s truly a heartfelt joy to offer what has worked for me—before, during, and after cancer.

I even wrote a book during chemotherapy, Cancer Ramblings, where I shared my journey and the transformative power of perspective. Now, I bring this same spirit of resilience and love to my retreat, which I proudly call PROJECT LOVE—a passion project dedicated to helping you tap into your own strength and find peace within.

Your Retreat, your Pace

Welcome to a weekend of self-discovery, connection, and rejuvenation. Feel free to participate in any activities that resonate with you. This retreat is designed to honor your personal journey, so you are welcome to skip any activities that don’t align with your needs. Here’s what we have planned:Trust yourself, honor your needs, and take time to rest and recharge as you see fit. Your well-being is our priority.

DAY 1: Arrival and Introduction

  • 2:30-3:30 pm - Arrivals & Check-in

    • Settle into your beautiful retreat space and get ready for a transformative weekend.

  • 3:30-4:30 pm - Opening Circle, Introductions, Meditation & Weekend Intentions

    • Meet your fellow ladies, set your personal intentions for the retreat, and engage in a guided meditation to center yourself.

  • 4:30-5:30 pm - Relaxing YIN YOGA Class

    • Unwind from travel with a calming YIN yoga session, enhanced with healing tuning forks and sound healing to prepare your body and mind for a restful evening.

  • 5:30-6:30 pm - Free Time

    • Enjoy some time to yourself to explore, relax, or reflect.

  • 6:30-7:30 pm - Dinner

    • Gather for a nourishing meal, fueling both body and spirit.

  • 7:30-8:30 pm - Free Time

    • Continue to unwind, socialize, or enjoy the serene surroundings.

  • 8:30 pm - Evening Reflection, LET GO LETTERS Fire Ritual & Group Meditation

    • Participate in a meaningful fire ritual to release what no longer serves you, followed by a group meditation and bedtime pranayama/breathwork session.

  • 10:00 pm - Quiet Reflection or Rest

    • Choose to retire for the night or enjoy the peaceful grounds in quiet contemplation.

DAY 2: Connection and Exploration

  • 7:30-8:00 am - Light Breakfast with Coffee/Tea

    • Start your day with a light breakfast before heading out for our meditative hike.

  • 8:00-1:00 pm - Silent Walking Meditation Hike at Joshua Tree National Park

    • Experience the sacred beauty of Joshua Tree with a walking meditation hike, including a Qi-Gong warmup and breathwork.

  • 1:00-2:00 pm - Lunch

    • Enjoy a well-deserved meal after your hike.

  • 2:00-2:30 pm - Free Time

    • Relax and recharge as you see fit.

  • 2:30-3:30 pm - VINYASA Yoga Flow

    • Engage in an invigorating Vinyasa yoga session to energize your body and mind.

  • 3:30-4:00 pm - Free Time

    • Time for personal reflection or relaxation.

  • 4:00-4:30 pm - Workshop: The Simplicity and Power of Gratitude

    • Discover how practicing gratitude can transform your outlook and enrich your life.

  • 4:30-5:00 pm - Free Time

    • Enjoy some personal time before evening activities.

  • 5:00-6:00 pm - YIN YOGA with Sound Bath & relaxing Tuning Forks

    • Another YIN yoga session designed to deepen relaxation and healing with tuning forks.

  • 6:00-7:00 pm - Dinner

    • Share another delicious meal with the group.

  • 7:00-8:00 pm - Free Time

    • A final opportunity to unwind or connect with others.

  • 8:00 pm - MOVEMENT BODY FLOW FREEDOM DANCE PARTY & Cake Celebration with Crystal Sound Healing Bowls & various Sense Elements

    • Celebrate the weekend with an ecstatic dance party and a gratitude ceremony, culminating in a festive cake celebration and then wind down with deep healing with our sound bath just before the night lands in the calm sea of sleep

  • 10:00 pm - Quiet Reflection or Rest

    • Wind down and prepare for the final day of the retreat.

DAY 3: Reflection and Farewell

  • 7:45-8:00 am - Silent Walking Meditation

    • Begin your day with a contemplative, silent walk to center yourself.

  • 8:00-9:00 am - VINYASA Morning Flow with Breathwork

    • Engage in a revitalizing Vinyasa yoga session combined with breathwork to start your day with clarity and energy.

  • 9:00-9:45 am - Breakfast

    • Enjoy a final meal together, savoring the connections and experiences of the weekend.

  • 10:00-11:30 am - Workshop: LETTER TO MY BEST POSSIBLE SELF

    • Reflect on your growth over the weekend and write a letter to your ideal self, envisioning your path forward.

  • 11:30-1:00 pm - Pack-up & Good-byes 💛

    • Prepare to leave with a heart full of new connections and renewed energy.

A recent Stage 4 Cancer Survivor and Author of book Cancer Ramblings, she's an Award Winning Actor/Producer where the powerful balance of Yoga is in everything she does professionally. "Yoga creates balance, clarity, and openness to ideas, people, and positive outcomes in all areas of life.

I infuse this passion into everything I do." With a teaching style that is intuitive, caring and genuine, she wishes to send you home with tools you can take away into your daily life for greater mobility, peace of mind and inner greatness. She received her RYT-200 from Yandara Yoga Institute in Mexico.

Arrival by car

If you are in Los Angeles or flying into LAX, the drive to Joshua Tree is something to experience once in your lifetime. The drive is generally about 2 hours and 45 minutes.

The drive to Joshua tree from Los Angeles is beautiful. I am happy to help you with any questions about that. Everyone is coming from different places, so the routes would be different. Happy to help you personally on your journey if you take the car!

Season Information

The desert is both hot during the day and can be a touch cooler in the evening. Ensure you bring a sweater so you are comfortable for both the hot parts and the cool parts of the day.

What to Bring

Get ready and pack accordingly Packing tips on what to bring:

  • BATHING SUIT (I always try for amenities like pool, hot tub, sauna...)

  • Comfortable running shoes or hiking shoes for our walk/hike

  • A sweater as the desert can be both hot and cool. Cool in the evenings and it is best to feel warm and comfortable and have options

  • A hat, umbrella, long sleep light top is a good idea as the sun gets hot and best to protect your face & head especially with certain cancer medications, where sun should be limited or careful. I still enjoyed the sun when I was undergoig treatment, but I was mindful of my skin

  • Suncreen is a great idea

  • Journal so you can connect with yourself if inspired

  • Water Bottle as it is important to stay hydrated, especially whe going through cancer treatments and post treatments as the cells need to be hydrated to heal and also to clear out toxins from all the meds and treatments

  • Please don't forget any special medications that you may be on.
