Meet your Upendo leaders - Anthony Sim
Anthony Sim is a retired farmer and former project leader with the Department of Agriculture who has dedicated much of his time to volunteering in developing countries, including Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, and Kenya. In 2015, he assumed a leadership role with an Australian charity operating a small children’s home in Moshi, Tanzania. Under his guidance, the initiative has grown significantly and now cares for 24 children. It has since evolved into an international NGO known as the Upendo Foundation Australia Children’s Home.
Meet your Upendo Leader
Faith Mutheu - Director Upendo Foundation Tanzania
Faith Mutheu, the Director of Upendo Home, has been part of our family since 2014. A trained teacher by profession and a natural caregiver at heart, Faith is the steady, compassionate presence that holds Upendo together. Her quiet strength, deep love for every child, and gentle wisdom shape the warm, peaceful environment that makes Upendo so special.
