Sample Itinerary

Day 1

Meet with your group to depart from your airport to head out west to Montana. Check into your hotel and rest up for the adventure ahead.

Days 2-3

Stay in log cabins and explore and hike Glacier National Park. Experience Avalanche Lake, Polebridge, Kintla Lake, and the majestic Going to The Sun Road. Turquoise lakes, rugged peaks, and wildlife sightings all around.

Days 4-5

Whitewater raft the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. This river runs along the southern border of Glacier Park. Our guide company leads the way and prepares all meals while we camp on the river bank.

Day 6

The raft trip concludes in the morning, then we travel south to Yellowstone National Park. Spend a relaxed evening exploring the small town of West Yellowstone, hike in the forest and along rivers, and do some fishing.

Day 7

Drive into the park and see Old Faithful shoot geyser water high in the air, get up close (but not too close) with the abundant wildlife, and hike to waterfalls and overlooks. Hit the swimming pool and hot tub before an evening bonfire for the last evening in West Yellowstone.

Day 8

Test your agility on a high ropes course then learn about wolves and bears at the Wolf Discovery Center. In the afternoon we go north through the park to Paradise Valley and get settled into cabins along the Yellowstone River.

Day 9

The morning begins with some lessons on fly fishing with expert guides who lead us to blue ribbon trout fishing spots amidst the valleys and peaks of Yellowstone. Whether an avid or a beginner fisher, this a unique way to settle into nature and experience Yellowstone. In the evening you’ll unwind in natural hot springs.

Day 10

The day starts slow with time to walk along or fish the Yellowstone River. On the way to Bozeman, we stop at the Montana Grizzly Encounter where biologists will teach you about grizzly bears while you get to see Max, the largest bear in the lower 48, coming in at over 1300lbs. After lunch it’s off to the airport to fly home with too many stories to tell.
