In 2006, Australia born and bred Roelie Hartwig exchanged living in a big city (Brisbane, Queensland) for clear blue skies, small communities and big open spaces. She still lives in Queensland, but now in the small town of Longreach, on the edge of the Australian Outback. After many years of teaching, volunteering and working within the Montessori community and gaining Montessori teaching qualifications, she had an ‘aha’ moment when she realised that she could combine two of her passions – Montessori and travelling.
