Day 2: Arrive in Paris and meet your English-speaking tour liaison. After settling in:
Walk the elegant Champs-Élysées and see the majestic Arc de Triomphe
Visit the Galeries Lafayette rooftop for stunning views over the Paris skyline
Enjoy a welcome crêpe dinner and a relaxing first evening in the city
Day 3: Begin with a tour of the Louvre Museum, then:
Walk to Île de la Cité to see the exterior of Notre-Dame Cathedral
Have lunch in the Latin Quarter
In the afternoon, head to Montmartre: visit the Sacre-Cœur Basilica, explore Place du Tertre, and soak in the bohemian atmosphere
Visit the Eiffel Tower and take a scenic boat tour on a Bateaux Mouche accompanied by dinner!
Day 4: Board the high-speed train to Avignon, gateway to Provence.
Visit the Palais des Papes, one of the largest Gothic palaces in Europe
Explore the Pont d’Avignon and enjoy lunch in this lively medieval town
In the afternoon, transfer to nearby Nîmes, your base in Provence. Check in, unwind, and enjoy a Provençal group dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 5: Today, explore two of Provence’s most enchanting sites:
Visit Arles, known for its Roman amphitheater and connections to Van Gogh
Continue to Les Baux-de-Provence, a stunning hilltop village with cobbled lanes and panoramic views
Optional visit to Carrières de Lumières, a dazzling immersive art experience in a former quarry
Return to Nîmes for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Experience the sensory magic of Provence:
Visit the lavender fields (best viewed June–early August) near Valensole or Sénanque Abbey
Stop in a quaint village like Gordes or Roussillon, known for their postcard-worthy charm
Learn about lavender distillation or enjoy a stop at a local market for souvenirs
Return to Nîmes for a relaxing final evening in the region.
Day 7: Travel to the vibrant port city of Marseille on the Mediterranean:
Visit the striking Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde for sweeping city views
Explore the historic Vieux-Port (Old Port) and grab lunch along the waterfront
Take a boat ride to Château d’If (from The Count of Monte Cristo) or enjoy time at MuCEM and nearby Fort Saint-Jean
Celebrate your final evening in France with a farewell dinner by the sea
Stay overnight in Marseille
After breakfast, head to Marseille Provence Airport for your flight back to the U.S.—bringing home memories of Parisian elegance, Roman ruins, lavender fields, and the sunny charm of the South of France.
