Depart the U.S. and board your overnight flight to Paris, ready for a journey across two countries and thousands of years of history.

Day 2: Arrive in Paris and meet your English-speaking tour liaison. After checking into your hotel and settling in:

  • Stroll the Champs-Élysées and view the Arc de Triomphe

  • Visit the Galeries Lafayette rooftop terrace for panoramic views

  • Enjoy a welcome crêpe dinner to kick off the adventure

Day 3: Begin the day with a guided tour of the Louvre Museum, home to the Mona Lisa and ancient treasures.

  • Walk to Île de la Cité to view the exterior of Notre-Dame Cathedral

  • Lunch in the Latin Quarter

  • Take the metro to Montmartre to explore the Sacre-Cœur Basilica and Place du Tertre, where artists capture the spirit of the city

  • Return to the hotel and enjoy a traditional French dinner

Day 4: Take a full-day excursion to Versailles:

  • Visit the Palace of Versailles, Hall of Mirrors, and gardens

  • Learn about French royal life and revolution

Return to Paris in the afternoon:

  • Visit the Eiffel Tower and ride the elevator to the summit

  • End your time in Paris with a farewell dinner cruise on the Seine

Transfer to the airport and fly to Rome, Italy. Upon arrival:

  • Meet your local tour guide and head to your hotel

  • Take an orientation walk to see iconic squares like Piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori, and the Pantheon

  • Toss a coin in the Trevi Fountain for good luck

  • Enjoy your first Italian dinner al fresco

Day 6 - Rome

  • Start with a cooking class led by a local chef: learn to make homemade pasta and tiramisu, followed by a meal of your own creations

  • In the afternoon, take a walking tour of Trastevere, Rome’s charming medieval quarter, or enjoy souvenir shopping along Via del Corso

Excursion to Pompeii

Today, travel south by private coach or train to the ancient city of Pompeii, one of the most extraordinary archaeological sites in the world. Buried in ash by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 CE, Pompeii offers a remarkably preserved look at daily life in ancient Rome.

Highlights of the Visit May Include:

  • The Forum – the heart of public life, surrounded by temples, markets, and government buildings

  • The Amphitheater – one of the oldest surviving Roman amphitheaters, where gladiators once fought

  • The Baths – see how Romans relaxed and socialized in intricately designed hot and cold rooms

  • Preserved Homes – such as the House of the Faun and Villa of the Mysteries, with original mosaics and frescoes

  • The Bakery – with ovens and millstones still in place, offering a glimpse into Roman food production

  • The Plaster Casts – haunting molds of Pompeii's residents in their final moments, preserved in ash

Return to Rome in the late afternoon or early evening, and celebrate your final night in Italy with a farewell group dinner, sharing highlights and stories from your two-country adventure.
