This journey is for the high-achiever who is quietly successful and privately seeking. Who has traveled the world and is now ready for the journey that goes inward. Who is physically fit, intellectually curious, and spiritually hungry, and who craves something real, not something comfortable.
Those who have built a full life and are ready to feel it more deeply. Anyone in a season of transition, reinvention, clarity, or simply a knowing that something needs to shift. Lovers of the wild who want travel that means something. Who value conservation, indigenous wisdom, and genuine presence. Those who can hold luxury and rawness in the same hand. If Africa has been calling you and you have kept finding reasons to wait, this was built for that moment.
You know what success looks like from the outside. You have built it, earned it, maintained it. And somewhere inside all of that, quietly, without announcement, something essential has gone still. Not broken. Not ungrateful. Just... distant. As if the most alive part of you has been waiting for permission to return.
Soil & Soul is not a retreat from your life. It is a return to the version of yourself that existed before the world made you so busy, so armored, so far from the soil. Seven days in the ancient wilderness of Botswana, one of the last truly wild places on Earth, where the landscape is so vast and so indifferent to your productivity that your nervous system has no choice but to surrender.
"You don't come here to escape life. You come here to meet it more fully."
A conservation levy is built into every seat on this journey, not as a charitable add-on, but as part of the price of being here. At Moela, your stay directly funds habitat rehabilitation, wildlife corridor protection, and the continuation of ancestral ecological knowledge among the Bushmen of Ngande. At Karangoma, your presence supports anti-poaching patrols, local livelihoods, and the long-term future of the Okavango Delta ecosystem.
Conservation is not a feature of this journey. It is the reason it exists.
Days 1–3 · Boteti River Valley
Your first three nights are at Moela, a private lodge perched above the Boteti River Valley on the edge of Makgadikgadi National Park, inside the conservation-driven Ngande Reserve. Elephants, giraffes, and big cats move freely below. Each suite holds a private deck, linen-draped bed, outdoor bath, and the sound of the river at night. It is the kind of place where nothing needs to be said for something to happen.
Days 4–6 · Northern Okavango Delta
On the morning of day four, a scenic charter flight from Maun reveals the Okavango from above, a braided, impossible green across the desert. A short helicopter transfer delivers you directly into Karangoma, a remote tented camp nestled deep within untouched floodplains and open sky. Days begin in stillness on your private deck. Nights end under a sky so alive it feels prehistoric. Wildlife encounters are frequent and uncurated: elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and over 200 bird species passing through in June alone.
THE DAILY RHYTHM
You are never rushed. Nothing is mandatory. And yet by day four, most guests find themselves moving to a rhythm their body seems to already know.
Days 1–3 · Moela Mornings begin in silence with tea, gentle movement, breathwork, and yoga as the bush awakens. Breakfast is unhurried and long. Afternoons bring guided game drives or conservation experiences. Evenings unfold slowly under the stars.
Day 4 · Transfer to Karangoma A charter flight over the Delta. A helicopter descent into the wild. A warm welcome, a late lunch, and an afternoon that is entirely yours.
Days 5–6 · Full Rhythm Mornings open with breathwork and somatic practice. Days move between mokoro drifts, walking safaris, wildlife, and rest. Nights bring firelight and the company of people who understand why you came.
Day 7 · Departure A slow breakfast. A closing circle. A charter flight back to Maun.

Through tribal movement that moves through your chest before your mind can name it. Through breathwork that breaks open what years of stress have sealed shut. Through tears that come without warning in the middle of a safari drive, and feel like the most honest thing you have done in years. Through a helicopter at dawn, when your problems finally become the right size.
The San Bushmen have belonged to this Earth for 70,000 years. They will walk you back to something you forgot you knew.
"Stars that do not care about your quarterly targets, and somehow that is the most comforting thing you have ever felt."

How do I secure my spot?
Placements are offered by application and a brief discovery call — not a sales call, but a conversation to confirm mutual fit. Most people know within the first few minutes whether their yes is a yes.
To begin: book your free 15-minute discovery call using the link on this page. Once confirmed, a non-refundable deposit of $500 USD secures your place. Your welcome kit and wardrobe capsule guide will arrive within 48 hours, and your 90-day pre-journey arc with Satya and Pablo begins from there.
How many places are available?
Eight, and no more. The intimacy of the group is not incidental — it is the container. Every element of the journey is designed for a group of this size, and once the eight seats are filled, the expedition closes.
Are payment plans available?
Yes. We offer 0% installment plans, and personalized payment arrangements are available if needed. Reach out to us directly at bumicdmx@gmail.com or via WhatsApp at +52 55 2686 7828 and we will find something that works for you. All payments become non-refundable 60 days before the journey begins.
Is this journey open to everyone, or is it for a specific group?
Soil & Soul welcomes all genders. What unites our guests is not a demographic — it is a quality of attention. This journey is for those who are quietly successful and privately seeking, who value conservation, indigenous wisdom, and genuine presence in equal measure. If Africa has been calling you and you have kept finding reasons to wait, this was built for that moment.
Do I need prior retreat, yoga, or wellness experience?
None at all. Soil & Soul is designed for all levels, including first-timers. Nothing on the journey is mandatory, and the practices — breathwork, yoga, somatic movement — are offered as invitations, not requirements. You will never feel behind or out of place. The land does most of the work.
What level of physical fitness do I need?
The journey is accessible and gentle. Game drives are seated, walks are unhurried, and the mokoro drift through the Delta requires nothing more than the ability to sit quietly on the water. If you can walk comfortably on uneven ground for short distances, you are well prepared. If you have any specific health considerations, we are happy to speak with you directly before you apply.
Where do I fly into, and how do I get to the lodges?
You will fly into Maun International Airport (MUB) in Botswana. From Maun, a private road transfer meets you on arrival and takes you to Moela Safari Lodge for your first three nights. On day four, a scenic light-aircraft charter flies you to the Vumbura airstrip, followed by a short helicopter transfer directly into Karangoma Camp. All internal flights and transfers between camps and back to Maun are included in your journey.
Do I need a visa to enter Botswana?
Many nationalities — including citizens of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and Mexico — enter Botswana visa-free for stays of up to 90 days. We recommend confirming your specific requirements with the Botswana embassy or your country's foreign affairs office well in advance of travel. International flights to and from Maun are not included in the journey price.
What vaccinations or health precautions are recommended?
Botswana falls within a malaria zone, and malaria prophylaxis is strongly recommended. We also advise consulting your physician or a travel health clinic at least six to eight weeks before departure to review any recommended vaccinations and personal health considerations. Your wellbeing on this journey begins before you board the plane.
Is travel insurance required?
Yes — travel insurance with medical evacuation coverage is required for all guests. This is non-negotiable and is in place to protect you. We recommend consulting your insurance provider to ensure your policy covers international travel, medical evacuation, and trip cancellation. If you need guidance on where to begin, we are happy to point you in the right direction during your discovery call.
Can I travel solo?
Absolutely, and many of our guests do. The shared luxury suite option is thoughtfully designed for solo travelers — you will have your own space within a beautiful lodge suite, and the intimacy of the group means you will feel held from the very first evening. If you would prefer a private suite, that option is also available.
How does my presence actually support conservation?
A conservation levy is built into every seat — not as a charitable add-on, but as part of the price of being here.
