Awaken in Baja: A Soulful Yoga Adventure
Baja California Sur is a land where contrasts converge — where the silent wisdom of ancient mountains meets the pulsing rhythms of the sea. Here, yoga becomes more than a practice; it is a communion with place, presence, and purpose.
In the mountains, stillness reigns. Under the sierra sky, your breath deepens. The Earth cradles you — steady, strong — as the wind carries whispers of ancestral wisdom through canyon trails and medicinal plants.
At sea, life stirs. Rays glide, dolphins leap, and the sea hums her ancient song. You flow with the tide, your breath dancing with light on the water, and something opens within — fluid, alive, attuned.
This journey invites you to explore both landscapes — the rooted grounding of mountain earth and the expansive flow of ocean tides — through yoga, nature immersion, cultural connection, and personal reflection. It is a return to the elements, to yourself, and to the stories whispered in the land and sung in the sea.
Tues. Nov. 18 - Arrival | Connection to Land and Tradition
Your journey begins with our driver picking the group up at the Cabo International Airport (SJD). The off to the Sierra de laLaguna mountains arriving at Rancho El Refugio Ecológico, one of Baja’s oldest working ranches, nestled deep in the mountains on ancestral lands. This is a place where generations have lived in rhythm with nature, preserving Indigenous knowledge of medicinal plants, organic farming, and sustainable living. All meals provided are plant-based, from garden to table.
As evening falls, gather for yoga under the stars — a deeply tranquil experience enhanced by the clarity of Baja’s night skies and the shimmering Leonid Meteor Shower.
Set beside a slow-moving río and surrounded by raw, rugged beauty, the ranch offers a peaceful space for grounding and glamping under a sea of stars.

Back at the ranch, step into living tradition with Doña Maria Luz, the heart of the homestead. She welcomes guests with stories and hands-on lessons in the use and preparation of the ranch’s medicinal plants — knowledge carefully preserved and passed down through generations.
