The African Beach Party is an Optional Add-on  to the Uganda Sampler Tour. Eat, laugh and dance the night away during this 3-day all-inclusive African Beach Party on the picturesque beaches of Zanzibar in the East African country of Tanzania. Since you are are already on the continent, why not continue the fun. In 3 hours or less, travelers will arrive on the tropical island of Zanzibar ready for 3 days of fun in the sun.  

The African Beach Party is ideal for travelers who love the sun, want a few days to enjoy the turquoise beaches in Zanzibar.  Travelers will fly from Entebbe International Airport directly to Zanzibar the following morning after the conclusion of their tour in Uganda. Flights & Entry Requirements

Airfare from your departure city is not included in the program. Guests are responsible for purchasing their own flights to Entebbe International Airport (EBB), Uganda, East Africa. We recommend booking early to secure the best fares and schedules that align with the program start and end dates.

Entry Requirements:

  • A valid passport is required, with at least 6 months remaining beyond your planned departure from Uganda.

  • Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for all travelers over 9 months old. A certificate of vaccination must be presented upon arrival. Please check with your doctor for other recommended vaccinations.

After gathering your baggage, guests are transported on a travel 30 minutes ride to Serena Resort and Hotel, a luxurious 4-5 star hotel located on the iconic Lake Victoria waterfront.

We know it's been a long journey. As a special treat, guests will find welcome gifts and snacks conveniently placed in each of their rooms and/or provided at check-in.

Explore Entebbe: The City by the Lake

Breakfast orientation

After a long trip and welcomed rest, guests will meet your tour host, HRH Regina Kasemiire and staff at the breakfast orientation. Receive a warm welcome from the CAC Serves team who will review the itinerary and answer any outstanding questions.

Explore Entebbe

In the afternoon, we head out to explore the city of Entebbe. Known as the City by the Lake, it is the first stop many tourists visit before heading to the west for safaris, Kampala for nightlife or Jinga to see the source of the Nile River.

Walk down the quiet streets of Entebbe, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Victoria, take in some local entertainment at one of the many restaurants facing the beautiful lake.

The day ends earlier for guests to rest up for the next day's morning departure to western Uganda.

African Roadtrip: Journey to the Heart of Uganda

Rise early for a scenic 2.5-hour drive to western Uganda, with stops to enjoy local foods, roadside markets, and friendly waves from villagers along the way.

After some rest, we’ll go greet the famous Ankole cows, then visit the nearby Hibeteba Waterfalls—a sacred site where royal kings once bathed, perfect for photos and peaceful reflection.

Hike through the mystical Njonjo Caves and Forest

After a lively night of dancing, take a short drive to hike through the mystical Njonjo Caves and Forest. Learn about the virgin caves. Sit atop the caves for a 360 degree view of the flora and fauna below. Indeed, this is a picture worthy experience.

Leave a lasting legacy in Uganda.

Enjoy a special session with a local royal prince from Tooro Kingdom who shares the Empaako tradition of bequeathing pet names, then visit a grain storage site supporting village food security. Plant your own tree and leave a lasting legacy in Uganda.

Scenic drive to Fort Portal

After breakfast, we depart Kyegegwa for a 2-hour scenic drive to Fort Portal, with photo stops at tea estates. We may even get lucky and see some baboons along the way.

Arrive Fort Portal and check in

Upon arriving in Fort Portal guests will check into Nyaika hotel www.nyaikahotel.com, one of the largest and most well appointed hotels in the city with a swim up bar, sauna, massage room and fitness gym. Fort Portal is known for its cool weather and convenient proximity to crater lakes, hot springs, walking trails and national game parks.

Safari drive

After refreshing for a couple of hours, the first evening safari drive of the trip commences. Get your cameras ready to see animals living in their natural habitat. Our experienced and knowledgeable guides will escort guests through the breathtaking Kibale Forest National  https://www.kibaleforestnationalpark.com.

Visit Tooro Palace perched atop Fort Portal where the youngest king in history to ascend the throne resides. Then, enjoy a viewpoint of Rwenzori Mountains. If we're lucky, we'll get to see pygmy children scale steep hillsides to greet visitors—a beautiful cultural moment.

Then head to Semuliki Hot Springs, where legends surround the male and female springs.

From there we visit Nyakasura Hill to view the wondrous triplet lakes.

Drive to Kasese

Rise early for a 1.5 hour drive to Kasese. Along the way, we will have a picture stop to see the twin lakes in the shape of Africa and buy bananas and other local snacks for our journey.

Once in Kasese you’ll meet the artist-in-residence at the Rwenzori Foundry, showcasing stunning African sculpture.


Spend time with the Busongora women, famous for their seated dances, and hear powerful stories from a real African king.

In the evening, enjoy a sunset safari through Queen Elizabeth National Park. Dine at one of the local lodges.

Guests will have an opportunity to do any last minute shopping, complete their packing and finally focus on relaxing before departing for the airport.

To ensure a stress-free last day in Uganda, guest are treated to a late check-out and secure luggage storage.

Tranfer to Entebbe International airport

Then its off to Entebbe International Airport (1-hour drive). To ensure check-in goes smoothly, tour staff will ensure travelers arrive at the airport 3-hours before their scheduled departure flight back home. The Uganda Sampler Tour ends at 2 pm.

Arrive in the afternoon to Zanzibar on Day 10. Relax and restore from all the activities in Uganda.

Enjoy time on your own for the rest of the afternoon. Meet up again in the late afternoon for what we all came for... The African Beach Party. Hear the music, dance to the African beats and taste the food while dancing and mingling with locals on the sandy beaches of Zanzibar. 

This all inclusive event includes a seafood buffet (non-seafood dishes also offered), unlimited non-alcoholic drinks, music, games and nonstop fun. Stay up late talking and laughing with your travel mates, tomorrow is your last day in paradise.
