This trip is Ground Only. (No Group Air will be offered by the club for the transatlantic flights)
Roundtrip bus transfers from Dublin airport to the initial lodging in Limerick, and also at the end of the trip from the hotel in Dublin to the airport, is included in the price. Flights to Dublin on Sunday, September 27th need to arrive early enough to meet the group in the arrivals lobby at 10:00am. A group flight recommendation will be posted at some point in the future for those traveling from Austin to Dublin, leaving on Friday, September 26th

Payment Schedule for Base trip to Ireland:
$500 deposit is due upon registration for double occupancy room. ($1000 for SS)
$500 due on December 5th. ($500, no additional for SS)
$800 due on March 1st. ($800, no additional for SS)
Final balance due on June 30th

Registrations made by anyone outside of these options will be cancelled unless the requirements (membership or reciprocity) are met within 24 hours of notification by the Trip Chair.

Note: No Air Travel is included in this tour. You will need to make your own air travel arrangements to and from the USA to Dublin, or wherever you are traveling from and to.
There will probably be recommended flights for those flying to Dublin from Austin on the afternoon of Saturday, September 26th, and also returning to Austin on Sunday, October 4th.
You need to make your flight plans so that you meet the group by 10:00am on Sunday morning, September 27th in the Arrivals Hall at the Dublin Airport to catch the private bus to Limerick.
The group will meet the trip chair and a tour representative in the arrivals lounge at the Dublin Airport on the morning of Sunday, September 27th at 10:00am for our bus transfer to Limerick - it is approximately a three-hour trip.
We have organized a private bus. Please meet your trip chair and tour representative in the arrivals lounge. We will proceed to the bus together.
The bus trip is approx. 3 hrs.
Arrive Dublin Airport. After clearing customs the group will be met by a representative of Grand Tours in the Arrivals Hall for 'Meet & Greet'. Transfer to Limerick via Kildare, visit the Irish National Stud and Gardens (guided tour), Tully, Co. Kildare.
Dinner is included at your hotel this eveningi.
08.00 hours: Full Irish buffet breakfast in hotel.
09.00 hours: Excursion to Galway, on arrival short version of the Connemara tour via Spiddal and Maam Cross.
Afternoon: Optional visit to the Connemara Marble Factory.
08.00 hours: Full Irish buffet breakfast in hotel.
09.00 hours: Excursion to Killarney. On arrival visit Muckross House and Gardens, followed by a short version of the Ring of Kerry tour, via Kilgarvan, Kenmare and photo stop at Molls Gap & Ladies View. Depart Killarney for return transfer to Limerick.
08.00 hours: Full Irish buffet breakfast in hotel.
09.00 hours: Today we depart for a visit to the majestic Cliffs of Moher – 700 feet above sea level and stretching for almost five miles along the rugged coastline. Afterwards encompass part of the Burren followed by a visit to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, before returning to the hotel.
In the evening, we return to Bunratty Castle for a special medieval dinner
08.00 hours: Full Irish buffet breakfast in hotel.
09.00 hours: This morning we set out for Dublin and en route, visit the Rock of Cashel, (AVP; self-guided tour) a spectacular group of medieval buildings set on an outcrop of limestone in the Golden Vale, and then visit Kilkenny Castle, (AVP & self-guided tour) a 12th century castle which was the principal seat of the Butler family, Marquesses and Dukes of Ormonde.
08.00 hours: Full Irish buffet breakfast in hotel.
09:00 hours: Meet your local guide for a full day sightseeing tour of Dublin. Visiting Trinity College, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and in the afternoon visit Guinness Storehouse.
08.00 hours: Full Irish buffet breakfast in hotel.
09.00 hours: After breakfast we depart for Wicklow, the ‘Garden of Ireland’. Our first stop is Powerscourt Gardens, situated in the foothills of the Wicklow Mountains. Then we travel on to Vale of Avoca, stopping in Avoca village, where we visit Avoca Handweavers. In the afternoon visit Glendalough Visitor Centre, where we will see an audio-visual presentation followed by a talk. Then there is an opportunity to explore this early Christian monastic site, founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century.
Dinner is included at your hotel this evening
We will be picked up by private transport to return to the airport.
