After enjoying your buffet breakfast, meet us in the lobby to begin our guided Accra City Tour. Today’s highlights include a visit to the W.E.B. Du Bois Center, a stop at the historic Independence Square, and time to experience the lively energy of Makola Market, one of Accra’s busiest open-air markets. This immersive tour offers a perfect introduction to the history, culture, and daily life of Ghana’s vibrant capital.

Begin your morning with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before we set out on a full-day excursion to Ghana’s Central Region. Our journey takes us along the coast to explore two of the country’s most profound historic landmarks — the Cape Coast Castle and Elmina Castle — both UNESCO World Heritage Sites that hold deep significance in the story of the transatlantic slave trade. These poignant sites, central to the transatlantic slave trade, offer a powerful and emotional experience, including a visit to the historic “Door of No Return.”

Following a reflective tour of the castles, we’ll pause to enjoy a delicious local lunch before continuing to Kakum National Park. Here, adventure awaits as you experience the famous Kakum Canopy Walk, a series of suspended bridges that offer breathtaking views of the rainforest from above.
