Three nights, big ADV energy: a guided motorcycle tour in Tanzania from Arusha across West Kilimanjaro’s acacia plains, a swim at Chemka (Kikuletwa) Hot Springs, and Rift Valley tracks toward Enduimet Wildlife Management Area with Kilimanjaro and Meru on the horizon.
Beginner–intermediate off-road friendly, flowy dirt and scenic connectors, an English/Swahili speaking guide, and well-maintained bikes with routes tailored to your skill. The perfect short Tanzania motorcycle tour seeing some of our favorite local spots—epic feel, easy to pair with a safari or Zanzibar.
Difficulty Level: This tour is great for beginner to intermediate riders. We can flex up or down the amount of off-road riding we do on certain days.
We will depart Arusha at 8:30am and head towards Chemka Hot Springs. We will ride through local villages and through farmland.
We will take a dip in the hotsprings and then have a delicious local barbecue lunch
We will continue on to Moshi on both dirt and tarmac ending the day with a fun off-road climb up the mountain. We will stay at a Tanzanian owned lodge high up in the village with views of Mt. Kilimanjaro
Lunch / Dinner
A cozy village stay near Mt. Kilimanjaro, surrounded by coffee farms and waterfalls
Today we will head towards Marangu another cool mountain town at the base of Kilimanjaro. Prepare for twisty tarmac roads around the mountain.
We will stop for lunch at the "Welcome to Kenya" at the Rongai border for a quick break.
The last 1.5 hours of riding will be offroad through local villages on the north side of Kilimanjaro.
We will stay at a working farm set on 5,000 acres overlooking the Great Rift Valley
Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner
A working farm lodge on the slopes of West Kilimanjaro
On Day 3, we will ride to Enduimet Wildlife Management Area. This WMA is the home of local Maasai people who look after it as well as Zebras, Giraffes, Gazelles, and Elephants to name a few.
We will ride into Enduimet and plan to see animals from the backs of our bikes.
We will then ride to the border of Arusha National Park where we will stay at a beautiful lodge overlooking Mt. Meru.
End the night with a fire under the stars.
Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner
A scenic lodge overlooking Mt. Meru and Tulusia Lake, set on the border of Arusha National Park
Sleep in a bit and have a big breakfast. We will head down the mountain to visit the village of Sanya Ju. We will stop and say hello to Bibi Mare our 87 year old grand-mother who is still farming the land.
We then have the option to ride back off-road to see some animals or ride back on tarmac depending on what the group prefers.

iRideArusha started as a dream between the two of us. I’m Kevin, originally from Chicago, where riding motorcycles gave me a sense of freedom and connection that shaped my early twenties. My wife, Sylvia, grew up in Tanzania and has always carried a deep love for this country—its people, landscapes, and traditions. Together, we decided to move here with the vision of sharing Tanzania in a way that felt real and adventurous.
That vision became iRideArusha.com. What began as our passion project has grown into tours, rentals, and riding experiences that let travelers discover Tanzania far beyond the typical safari. Every itinerary blends my love for adventure with Sylvia’s knowledge of the land and culture, creating journeys that are as much about connection as they are about riding. For us, it’s not just about motorcycles—it’s about opening the door to freedom, wonder, and the spirit of Tanzania.
