Spider Crab Migration

Melbourne
Spider Crab Migration image

20th May – 27th May (7 Nights)

Witness one of Nature’s great events. Every winter, tens of thousands of spider crabs march into the shallows to moult their shells.  This, alone, is a sight like no other on earth!  Predators like octopus, giant smooth stingrays and Port Jackson sharks also come in to feast on the crabs.  To help you capture this unique event, no matter what level of photography or videography experience you have, Scott Portelli will be on hand daily to mentor you.  There will be daily workshops, and time each evening to review and edit your images with Scott, to make sure you take away some great images.   This is a small group trip, for certified SCUBA divers with temperate water experience.
