Early Arrival? If you arrive before 3 p.m., feel free to use our dedicated luggage room to store your bags securely while you explore the city.

To ensure a smooth arrival experience, we will coordinate around recommended flights. Participants arriving on those flights will be greeted at the airport with VIP service, where Federation and Mission staff will welcome them and accompany them as they board buses together to the hotel.

Kick Off!

The evening kicks off at City Hall with welcome remarks from our Mission Chairs and the Mayor of Jerusalem. We'll recite together the Shehecheyanu to mark this momentus occasion. Grab a sign and join the Broward Love Israel Parade. The parade leads to the Tower of David for breathtaking Old City views, a delicious dinner, and a special address by the President of Israel. We'll conclude with a spectacular private viewing of the Sound and Light Show!

Tikkun Olam in Action

Join your assigned bus group for an interactive Tikkun Olam experience. You will visit one of our impactful partner sites proudly supported by the Federation campaign including Shalva, United Hatzalah, Yad LaKashish, or a dedicated JAFI/JDC initiative.

The Tikkun Olam experience will be followed be touring one of Jerusalem’s many inspiring museums and institutions, each offering a unique perspective on the city’s rich history, diverse culture, and enduring spirit.

Machane Yehuda Market

Enjoy leisure time at the renowned Machane Yehuda Market. Lunch is on your own, giving you the perfect chance to sample its many culinary delights. From authentic Middle Eastern street food like falafel and sabich to specialty eateries, local craft beer, and delicious desserts, there is something for every taste! Afterward, return to the hotel for rest and preparation before Shabbat.

Our special guests will be volunteers and Lone Soldiers from Ach Gadol, an NGO supported by The Jewish Federation of Broward County that provides one-to-one mentorship and guidance to Israel’s Lone Soldiers through its unique “Big Brother/Big Sister” program.

Take a behind-the-scenes tour of Tel Nof IAF Base to learn about the IAF's critical multi-front role, including the elite 669 heliborne rescue unit and the inspiring "Equals in Uniform" program.

We will then ejoy a special dinner and party right on the base. The evening features singer Hagit Yasso, who grew up in Sderot, served in the IDF band, and performs globally, and/or singer Daniel Wise, a lead contestant from Rising Star and an October 7 survivor from Kibbutz Be'eri.
