9-Day Kilimanjaro Summit Expedition

9-Day Kilimanjaro Summit Expedition image

Lemosho Route (9 Days / 8 Nights)

The Lemosho Route is one of Kilimanjaro’s most beautiful and least-crowded approaches, offering excellent acclimatization and one of the highest summit success rates on the mountain. Beginning on the western slopes, the route starts with a scenic drive to Londorosi Gate before entering lush rainforest and gradually rising toward the vast Shira Plateau.

We will spend 6 nights on the mountain and a night at the start and end of the tour at a chill hotel in Moshi town for a total of 8 nights.

Over seven days on the mountain you move through dramatically changing landscapes—rainforest, moorland, alpine desert, and finally the glaciated upper slopes of Kibo. The trek joins the Machame Route after Shira 2 Camp and continues along the stunning Southern Circuit, passing highlights such as Lava Tower, the Barranco Wall, and the Karanga Valley.

Summit night begins from Barafu Camp, with an unforgettable push to Uhuru Peak at 5,895m, followed by a descent through Mweka Camp and down to Mweka Gate. Throughout the climb, you travel with certified guides, professional mountain crews, and full support to maximize your comfort, safety, and summit success.

This itinerary is designed for steady acclimatization, strong success rates, and a rich, scenic Kilimanjaro experience from start to finish.
