Introducing Ischia:

Ischia, the largest volcanic jewel in the Bay of Naples, is a haven of lush landscapes and ancient history. Known as Pithecusae in its Greek origins, this island has been cherished since antiquity for its natural thermal springs and fertile soil. With rolling vineyards, sun-drenched beaches, dense forests, and charming villages, Ischia is a feast for the senses, where every view is a postcard of Mediterranean beauty.

Once a retreat for Romans who believed in the healing powers of its hot springs, Ischia still radiates that sense of rejuvenation today. The island’s culinary traditions are just as rich—fresh seafood takes center stage, but Ischia’s famous rabbit dishes, born from its inland farms, are a true testament to its rustic heritage. To top it all off, savor rucolino, a uniquely Ischian liqueur made from wild arugula leaves, as a toast to the island’s enduring spirit. Ischia is not just a destination; it’s a timeless escape into beauty, flavor, and history.

Sorrento

High above the sparkling Bay of Naples, Sorrento is a jewel of the Amalfi Coast with breathtaking views of Mount Vesuvius and the azure sea. With origins dating back to 600 BC, this ancient town has charmed visitors for millennia, from Roman emperors to literary icons like Lord Byron, Goethe, and Dickens. Wander its sunlit streets, framed by citrus groves and colorful façades, and feel the timeless magic that inspired the iconic song, “Come Back to Sorrento.” It’s a place where history and beauty embrace, leaving an indelible mark on the soul.

Transfer to Herculaneum

Herculaneum

Nestled near the shimmering Bay of Naples and beneath the looming shadow of Mount Vesuvius, Herculaneum is a time capsule of Roman luxury and life. When Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD, this prosperous seaside town was buried under a torrent of volcanic ash and pyroclastic flows, which remarkably preserved its treasures. Unlike Pompeii, the ash here carbonized wooden beams, furniture, and even food, leaving behind vivid traces of daily life that feel startlingly close to the present.

Once a retreat for Rome’s elite, Herculaneum dazzles with its grand villas adorned with vibrant frescoes, intricate mosaics, and luxurious baths. As you explore its remarkably intact streets and structures, you’ll marvel at the beauty of this ancient seaside haven, now frozen in time and surrounded by the rugged landscape of Vesuvius and the sparkling Mediterranean beyond.

Cena! (Closing Dinner Pizza Night)

Time7:00 PM

“When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that’s amore!”

Tonight, your journey culminates with an unforgettable Neapolitan feast. As the moon casts its glow over the Bay of Naples, you’ll indulge in the city’s most celebrated creation—pizza. Naples is the birthplace of this iconic dish, and the world’s first pizzeria, still thriving today, traces its roots to the city’s centuries-old culinary traditions.

Savor the simplicity and brilliance of Pizza Margherita, crafted with the freshest San Marzano tomatoes, aromatic basil, and creamy mozzarella di bufala, all set on a perfectly charred dough. This iconic pizza is not just a meal, but a tribute to Italy, with its red, white, and green representing the Italian flag. Served straight from a wood-fired oven, each bite transports you to the heart of Naples, where pizza is more than food—it’s a living tradition, as timeless as the city itself.

Once Upon a Time...

Once upon a time, in the enchanting land of Italy, a group of strangers found themselves on a serendipitous journey through the stunning Amalfi Coast. They crossed paths in bustling Naples, where the aroma of fresh pizza filled the air and the vibrant energy of the city sparked a sense of adventure within them.

As they embarked on this voyage, they boarded a ferry to the island of Ischia, where azure waters and lush greenery beckoned them to explore. In Ischia, they formed a bond over shared experiences of soaking in hot springs and indulging in delicious seafood.

Their travels then took them to the charming island of Procida, with its pastel-colored houses and winding alleyways that led to hidden treasures. Here, they laughed and danced under the Mediterranean sun, forging lasting memories together.

The journey continued by private yacht to the beauty of Positano. There, they strolled along picturesque cliffs, with the azure sea shimmering below. In Ravello, they were mesmerized by the sweeping views from Villa Ruffolo's colorful gardens.

Exploring the ancient ruins of Herculaneum, they were transported back in time to the days of the Roman Empire, marveling at the preserved history beneath their feet. In Sorrento, they savored the sweetness of limoncello and shared stories late into the afternoon.

As they circled back to Naples, their journey coming full circle, they realized that they had found more than just beautiful landscapes on this adventure. Through shared laughter, exploration, and unforgettable moments, these strangers had become steadfast friends, bound by the magic of the Amalfi Coast and the warmth of newfound connections. And so, their journey ended not at the destination, but in the hearts of those who journeyed alongside them.
