Ann, MSG Tour Operator, plays a key role within the Aquatics Tour Department. A former international medallist, she proudly represented Great Britain at numerous competitions and was fortunate to travel extensively on elite swimming camps across Europe, America, and beyond.
Throughout her competitive career, Ann attended over 20 overseas training camps and international competitions, giving her first-hand insight into what makes an exceptional tour experience — both in and out of the pool.
Ann previously worked as a swimming coach at Repton School, one of the UK’s leading swimming programmes. In this role, she supported athletes across a wide range of ages and abilities, developing a strong understanding of long-term athlete development, school sport structures, and the importance of balancing academic commitments alongside high-performance sport.
During her time at Repton, Ann led the organisation of a large-scale overseas training camp to Dubai for more than 50 elite swimmers. She coordinated fundraising initiatives to make the tour accessible for swimmers and their families, and whilst in Dubai, the team competed in the Dubai Open — successfully combining world-class training with international competition exposure.
This experience now underpins her work within the Aquatics Tour Department, enabling her to design and deliver tours that support both performance progression and the wider educational and pastoral needs of schools and their students.

One of the biggest performance advantages Spain offers is consistency. The warm, settled climate particularly in spring and autumn allows swimmers to train outdoors without disruption. There’s something incredibly powerful about starting the day in the sun, moving efficiently between pool and dryland, and not losing sessions to poor weather.
For coaches, that means:
Structured programmes run exactly as planned
Higher training volume across the week
Better recovery conditions
Athletes staying healthy and motivated
Spain is home to outstanding aquatic centres with Olympic 50m pools, heated training lanes, strength and conditioning suites, and competition-standard setups. Many of these venues regularly host elite European and international teams, so swimmers are training in environments that feel professional and performance-driven.
We are able to offer training in facilities that mirror competition conditions builds confidence and raises standards — and that’s exactly what we aim to deliver on our tours.
A successful camp isn’t just about metres completed. Spain allows us to build a well-rounded programme that can include:
Structured strength & conditioning sessions
Beach-based resistance and sprint work
Open-water skill development
Team-building activities that strengthen squad culture
The combination of performance training and shared experience is what makes these tours genuinely impactful — both athletically and personally.
At MSG’s Aquatics Tour Department, we design our Spanish camps to support performance progression while ensuring athletes, coaches, and schools feel fully supported throughout the process. Having organised overseas camps myself, I understand the logistical detail required behind the scenes — and we pride ourselves on delivering tours that run smoothly from start to finish.
