Intrepid Travel

WHO WE ARE

That's over 30 years of adventures, visiting new places and old friends, and countless, unforgettable moments. More than 30 years of changing the way people see the world on small group trips with like-minded explorers and a local leader to show you around.

But to us, it's about more than just seeing the world, it's about experiencing it. It's about feeling its pulse and the shared rhythms of Intrepid people all over the world. To be Intrepid is far more than a lust for travel, we're an antidote to loneliness. We connect people to the heartbeat of adventure and the soul of the planet.

Find more information here.

About your Tour Leader

On this trip you will be accompanied by one of our tour leaders. The aim of the tour leader is to take the hassle out of your travels and to help you have the best trip possible.

Your leader will provide information on the places you are travelling through, offer suggestions for things to do and see, recommend great local eating venues and introduce you to our local friends. While not being guides in the traditional sense you can expect them to have a broad general knowledge of the places visited on the trip, including historical, cultural, religious and social aspects.

We aim to support local guides who have specialised knowledge of the regions we visit. If you were interested in delving deeper into the local culture at a specic site or location then your leader can recommend a local guide service in most of the main destinations of your trip.
