Cyprus has quietly become one of the premier cycling destinations in the Mediterranean, often described as a more peaceful and rugged alternative to Mallorca.
Cyprus has that lovely sweetspor for cycling groups, with a well established tourist sector and a developing cycling infrastructure. This allows us to find great hotel packages, bike hire options and plan safe and interesting routes. Lastly, an international airport helps guests in planning sensible flights at competitive prices
The island’s geography is incredibly compact. You can start your morning at sea level and be at nearly 2,000 meters by lunchtime.
Mount Olympus: The crown jewel of Cypriot cycling. A climb to the summit of the Troodos Mountains is a 50km+ steady upward grind through pine forests and vineyards.
Coastal Cruises: For those who prefer flatter terrain, the coastal paths around Paphos and Limassol offer stunning Mediterranean views without the punishing gradients.
Oh and for UK riders you cycle on the left in Cyprus which makes life even easier.
