Day 1 - Northbound to Everett & Snohomish

Journey North Through Olympia and Everett

Morning Pickups and Northbound Travel

We begin our journey with convenient morning pickups in Albany, Salem, Woodburn, and Tualatin before heading north into Washington.

Olympia Waterfront Lunch and Stroll

Late morning brings us to Olympia’s picturesque waterfront, where we’ll enjoy a relaxed lunch and a chance to stroll the marina-lined boardwalk.

Boeing Factory Tour in Everett

We continue to Everett for a fascinating visit to the Boeing factory tour facility, where we’ll learn about the history and innovation behind some of the world’s most recognizable aircraft.

Everett Hotel Near the Puget Sound

Check into our comfortable hotel overlooking Puget Sound.

Lunch in Olympia

Enjoy a relaxed lunch at Olympia’s waterfront.

Dinner in Snohomish Historic District

After dinner, we return to our Everett hotel to settle in for the night.

Day 2 - Ferry to Whidbey Island & Arrival in Bellingham

After breakfast, we depart for Mukilteo and board the ferry for a scenic crossing to Whidbey Island.

Our route today takes us along one of Washington’s most beautiful drives, with stops along Whidbey Island and a highlight visit to iconic Deception Pass, where turquoise waters rush beneath the famous bridge.

Lunch along the Chuckanut coastline

Lunch is included today along the Chuckanut coastline, known for its sweeping views of the San Juan Islands.

Visit to Whatcom Museum campus

By afternoon we arrive in Bellingham and visit the Whatcom Museum campus before checking into our hotel in the heart of Fairhaven’s historic district.

Day 3 - San Juan Islands Adventure

After breakfast, we board a cruise vessel in Bellingham Harbor for a full-day excursion into the San Juan Islands.

Today is the highlight of our visit to the North Sound. After breakfast, we board a cruise vessel in Bellingham Harbor for a full-day excursion into the San Juan Islands.

Cruise to Friday Harbor

Enjoy a narrated cruise to Friday Harbor for free time in the very quaint and walkable ferry terminal area. Guests have time to shop and have a nice lunch on their own. Keep your camera ready for views of forested islands, marine wildlife, and perhaps even orcas in their natural habitat.

Return to Bellingham and Free Time

We return to Bellingham in the late afternoon with time to relax before gathering for dinner in Old Town. The evening is yours to enjoy a stroll along the waterfront or simply relax at the hotel.

Day 4 - Historic Bellingham and Return to Olympia

After breakfast, we visit Western Washington University’s scenic sculpture garden, where art and nature meet on a bluff overlooking Bellingham Bay.

Time in Historic Downtown Bellingham

We then spend time in historic downtown Bellingham for shopping and lunch on your own before beginning our journey south.

Journey South to Olympia

This afternoon we travel back toward Olympia, arriving at our hotel with time to refresh before dinner at a well-selected local restaurant.

Day 5 - Capitol Visit and Mount St. Helens

Capitol Tour, Mount St. Helens, and Return

Tour of Washington State Capitol

This morning we tour the impressive Washington State Capitol building, set on beautifully landscaped grounds overlooking Puget Sound.

Lunch in Napavine

After our visit, we depart Olympia and stop for lunch in Napavine before continuing toward Mount St. Helens.

Visit to Forest Learning Center at Mount St. Helens

At the Forest Learning Center, we’ll take in sweeping views of the volcano and learn about the dramatic events of the 1980 eruption and the area’s recovery.

Final Scenic Stop at Mount St. Helens

A final scenic stop offers one more look at this remarkable landscape before we continue south.

Return to Tualatin, Woodburn, Salem, and Albany

We arrive back in Tualatin, Woodburn, Salem, and Albany by early evening, concluding a memorable Pacific Northwest getaway filled with coastal charm, island scenery, and wonderful company.
