Day 1 - Flight to Pedasí & Arrival to Playa Venao

Your experience begins with check-in at the Fly Trip counter at Albrook Airport, followed by time to relax in the VIP lounge before your departure to Pedasí.

Upon arrival, your guide will welcome you and assist with your transfer to Villa Marina Lodge & Condos, a serene beachfront retreat set along the golden sands of Playa Venao.

Villa Marina offers an intimate and relaxed atmosphere, ideal for embracing the natural beauty of Panama’s Pacific coast. With direct beach access, a tranquil pool, and lush tropical surroundings, the property provides the perfect balance between comfort and authenticity. Day 2 - Azuero Folklore Immersion

At 8:00 AM, your experience begins with private transportation to Llano Bonito de Chitré, where you will take part in a hands-on Diablicos Mask Workshop, creating one of Panama’s most iconic folkloric symbols. As you design your own vibrant mask, you will learn about the history and cultural significance behind this powerful tradition. You will also enjoy a unique experience designing your own custom-made cutarras, the country’s traditional leather sandals (includes one handcrafted pair).

Afterward, you will immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of Cantina La Araña, a well-known local gathering spot rich in folklore and history. You will then enjoy a traditional lunch (not included) at one of the region’s recommended restaurants or fondas.

The experience continues in the picturesque town of Guararé, home to the intricate craft of pollera-making, Panama’s national dress. Engage with local artisans as they share their expertise and traditions in creating this elaborate and elegant attire.

The tour concludes with a scenic return to your hotel in Playa Venao, leaving you enriched with unforgettable cultural experiences and a deeper connection to the folklore of the Azuero Peninsula.

Day 3 - Desfile de Las Mil Polleras

Spend the morning relaxing or preparing to wear Panama’s traditional attire if you wish. Comfortable fittings and full outfit rentals are available upon request (subject to availability).

A private transfer will take you on a one-hour journey to the town of Las Tablas, where the festival begins at approximately 1:00 PM.

Upon arrival, our team will escort you to your VIP balcony with prime views of the parade. As the spectacle unfolds, an expert guide will share insights into the history, craftsmanship, and cultural significance of the pollera, ensuring you fully appreciate the artistry behind this national treasure. From this exclusive vantage point, you'll enjoy uninterrupted views of the intricate embroidery, delicate lacework, and vibrant colors adorning the women proudly showcasing their heritage.

Throughout the parade, indulge in a curated selection of traditional Panamanian dishes and refreshing alcoholic beverages, all while immersing yourself in the lively rhythms of Panamanian folk music.
