A great option for hiking enthusiasts staying in Puerto Natales or in a hotel in the Torres del Paine Park.  Sierra Baguales, a secluded volcanic range in one of Patagonia's most remote areas, is a testament to a bygone era. Its jagged, dark mountains, originally part of an ocean, have transformed over thousands of years into a steppe, sculpted by the Patagonian wind. Each fossil discovered here narrates its own unique tale.

A typical day of exploration begins at the private Paleontological Museum. Established over a decade ago, it exhibits the region's substantial geological and paleontological treasures.

After the Museum we embarked on an adventure that comprised five long, thrilling hours of hiking through the lush, vibrant landscape. Our journey was intermittently punctuated by a short, refreshing lunch break that allowed us to regain our energy and also appreciate the beauty that surrounded us.

 We advise to start in the morning at 8.00 to 8.30 AM from Puerto Natales but it is flexible to your needs. From pick up the itinerary goes as follows:

• 2 Hours drive from Puerto Natales to Estancia Baguales (north of Torres del Paine)
• 30 minutes bathroom break- quick coffee or mate – get ready 
• 5 Hours of hiking with small lunch break
• 2 Hour drive back to Puerto Natales or hotel in Torres del Paine

Reservations cancelled more than 15 days in advance will receive a full refund (100%). However, no refund will be issued for cancellations made within 15 days of the program date, regardless of the reason. If the tour is cancelled due to wind, weather conditions, or any other force majeure, you will be refunded 100% of the tour's value within a maximum of 5 business days.
