About your trip

Full-Day Caño Island Snorkeling Tour from Uvita

This exciting full-day adventure runs from 7:30 a.m. to approximately 2:30 p.m. Departing from Uvita, you’ll enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour boat ride to Caño Island, with excellent chances to spot whales (in season), playful dolphins, and sea turtles along the way.

Upon arrival at the island, you’ll participate in two guided snorkeling sessions, each lasting 40 to 50 minutes, exploring the vibrant marine life of one of Costa Rica’s top snorkeling spots. Between sessions, a light snack will be offered.

After the first session, you’ll also have a brief stop on the island (weather and sea conditions permitting), where you can relax on the beach, use the restrooms, and enjoy a short walk to a stunning viewpoint.

Once the second snorkeling session is complete, a delicious picnic-style lunch will be served on a nearby beach. After lunch, the boat returns to Uvita, ending a memorable day on the water.
