⚠️ Safety Guidelines

The Everest Base Camp Trek is considered an advanced-level trek, reaching a maximum elevation of 5,644 m (18,519 ft). While the trail does not require any technical climbing experience, it includes long days of hiking on steep, uneven terrain at high altitude, which can be physically and mentally demanding.

This trip is best suited for participants with a moderate level of fitness who are comfortable walking for several hours a day and can prepare through regular physical activity before the trip. Previous trekking experience is helpful but not required. Participants should be aware that high-altitude conditions may affect the body differently, and following proper acclimatization, hydration, and self-care practices is essential for a safe and enjoyable trek.

🚁 Emergency Rescue Service: Should an emergency arise during your trek, our local tour operator provides prompt and professional rescue and medical services. All participants must have travel insurance that covers high-altitude emergencies, including helicopter evacuation up to 5,500 meters. Travel insurance is not included in your booking and is not covered by Ma’wa Collective.
