About your trip

Trip Duration: 3 nights

Difficulty Level: Beginner

For all of our girlies that are looking for that rustic weekend in the desert, this is your trip. Join us in Death Valley for an authentic camping experience, complete with outdoor cooking, stargazing, and sleeping under the stars in tents. Trip Itinerary highlights include Sunset at Zabriskie Point, Darwin Falls Hike, and Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes. There are two lodging options available on this trip: a traditional camping tent or a glamping tent. For more trip details, including itinerary highlights, and a detailed breakdown of lodging options please visit our website: www.mawacollective.com/trips/death-valley-spring-trip

This is a beginner level trip: the activities and hikes planned are slightly challenging but can be done by those with limited outdoor experience. All participants will need to bring good quality hiking boots to complete planned hikes in the itinerary. Please come prepared to experience a true camping experience with limited access to amenities.

Important Information (please read before booking):

- Transportation to the trip location is not covered by Ma'wa Collective. It is the responsibility of participants to do their due diligence to check on travel logistics before signing up for the trip, including checking flight availability and pricing if you are not local to the area.

- Carpools: While Ma’wa Collective will assist with arranging carpools among participants, we cannot guarantee that every Trip will have local participants that are able to volunteer their personal cars and offer a carpool. In some cases, a rental car may be the only option for carpooling. Some participants will need to volunteer as drivers for the rentals and the cost of the rental car is not covered by Ma’wa Collective. All participants are expected to split the cost of gas for the duration of the Trip, regardless of whether your carpool is a rental car or someone’s personal vehicle.

- If you will be flying in for this trip, we recommend flying into Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas: arrival must be no later than 1pm on Friday, April 11th, and departure no earlier than 1pm on Monday, April 14th

- All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
