Sample Tour Itinerary

The itinerary is subject to change. We will keep the standard high and the locations of interest included but their may be a need to re-route the tour based on the game schedules and availability.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 – May 22 2027 | Departure from USA

• Depart from your international gateway airport on an overnight flight to Rome, Italy

• Due to the overnight travel and time difference, arrival will be the following day
  • Dinner and overnight on board the aircraft

Day 2 – May 23 | Arrival in Rome

• Arrival at Rome Fiumicino International Airport

• Meet your AIST tour manager and private motor coach bus and driver

• Transfer into the historic center of Rome

• Time for acclimatization and light exploration after your international flight

• Optional walk through nearby piazzas and cafés to begin experiencing the Italian lifestyle

• Welcome orientation with your tour manager

• Overnight in Rome (2 nights)

Day 3 – May 24 | Rome City Tour & Competition

• Breakfast at hotel

• Guided sightseeing tour of Rome’s historic landmarks, including highlights such as: Piazza Venezia, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps

• Entrance visit to the legendary Colosseum, one of the most iconic structures in the world

• Free time for lunch and exploration

• International Game #1 - evening friendly Game vs Italian club

• Overnight in Rome

Day 4 – May 25 | Travel to Florence & Tuscany

• Breakfast at hotel

• Depart Rome by private motor coach for Florence, the capital of Tuscany

• Guided walking tour of Florence, including: Florence Cathedral (Duomo), Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio

• Historic Renaissance streets and markets

• Free time to explore Florence and enjoy lunch

• Continue transfer to the charming Tuscan town of Montecatini Terme

• Overnight in Montecatini (3 nights)

Day 5 – May 26 | Lucca Bike Tour & Competition

• Breakfast at hotel

• Transfer to the beautiful medieval town of Lucca

• Lucca Bike Tour Experience

• Guided cycling tour along the historic Renaissance walls surrounding the city

• Explore charming squares, churches, and narrow cobblestone streets

• Free time to explore Lucca’s shops and cafés

• International Game #2 - Friendly game vs local Italian club team

• Return to Montecatini for overnight

Day 6 – May 27 | Cinque Terre Coastal Excursion

• Breakfast at hotel

• Full-day excursion to the breathtaking Cinque Terre National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site

• Explore your preferred seaside villages including: Monterosso, Vernazza, Manarola

• Travel between villages by train or take the amazing hike from Monterosso to Vernazza enjoying incredible views of the Ligurian coastline

• Free time for swimming, shopping, and enjoying local seafood restaurants

• Team Dinner – Il Poggio - Traditional Tuscan countryside dinner experience

• Return to Montecatini for overnight

Day 7 – May 28 | Milan & Travel to Lake Como Region

• Breakfast at hotel

• Depart Tuscany for Northern Italy

• Stop in Milan, Italy’s fashion and financial capital

• Walking visit of the city center including: Piazza del Duomo, Milan Cathedral (Duomo), Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

• Free time for lunch and shopping

• Possibility of International Game #3 - Friendly Game vs Italian club or academy team in the Milan region - If needed and available

• Continue to the Lake Como / Saronno area for Overnight (3 nights)

Day 8 – Mau 29 | Lake Como Boat Cruise

• Breakfast at hotel

• Lake Como Boat Cruise

• Scenic cruise across one of Italy’s most famous lakes

• See historic villas, charming villages, and Alpine scenery

• Stop in the picturesque lakeside town of Bellagio for 1 hour visit

• Leisure time to explore, shop, or relax along the waterfront

• Overnight in Lake Como area

Day 9 – May 30 | Venice Day Trip

• Breakfast at hotel

• Transfer by high-speed train to Venice

• Explore the magical canals and bridges of one of the world’s most unique cities

• Highlights may include: St. Mark’s Square, St. Mark’s Basilica, Rialto Bridge, Gondola-lined canals

• Free time for shopping, sightseeing, and optional gondola rides

• Evening return to the Lake Como region

• Overnight in Lake Como area

Day 10 – May 31 | Return to USA

• Breakfast at hotel

• Transfer to Milan Malpensa Airport

• Departure flight back to the United States

Important Notes:

Upgraded seats and deviations may not be possible depending on the airline policies for group travel.

Do not purchase any flights until AIST confirms the schedule about 4-5 months prior to departure.

To include airfare in your tour package, you must select the the add-on at check-out of your preferred option. Seats are limited at the quoted price, and if additional seats are needed, the cost may increase. Book early to secure your spot. Seats are limited and available to first come first serve. They can be added at another time if you prefer to check on booking your own flights but do not book any flights until AIST confirms a complete roster.

The prices below are based on the following conditions:

• 8 night ground package

• Cost is quoted per person

• Ground Package cost only - Airfare is available separately with a group flight option - or you can purchase on your own

• Minimum 15 paying passengers for prices below

• Cost is subject to change until deposit and registration is received

• Discounts available if deposited before June 1, 2026 for players ($500) and for Friends and family ($250) until November 1, 2026. (MUST use discount codes before June 1 for player discounts)

• $500 deposit due to confirm - Refundable until Nov 1, 2026

• 6-7 months prior to departure - about 30% of total due

• 5 months prior to departure - 50% of the total cost land and air due

• About 2 months prior to departure all balances will be due and non-refundable

Cancellation fees will be kept to a minimum. However, in the event of you having to cancel part, or all your arrangements within the following, the below cancellation conditions apply. Airfare cancellation policies are separate and vary from carrier to carrier.

• The initial deposit is non-refundable ($500 per person) after November 1, 2026

• 130 – 61 days prior to departure 50%-75% of total cost land an air will be non-refundable

• 60 – Days prior to departure there will be no refunds

• Once travel has commenced, no refunds will be given. This includes any unused portion of the tour.

• WeTravel Processing fees are non-refundable (Consider Payment by Check to avoid processing fees)

REPLACEMENT PARTICIPANT INFORMATION: If a pre-enrolled participant cannot travel for any reason, a substitute may be sent in his/her place. We must receive the name of the replacement participant at least 15 days before the teams departure. If a replacement cannot be sent the Cancellation and Refund Policy stated above will be applied.

Airfare cancellation and refund policies vary by airline.

• Pre-Register to secure your roster spot

• Confirmation email will be sent within 7-14 days and once received you will have 48 hours to complete registration and commitment by making your deposit

• $500 deposit is due to confirm and fully refundable until NOVEMBER 1, 2026 (cancel for any reason for full refund, less WeTravel processing fees of 3%)
