9:30 - After breakfast, meet at the hotel with your local guide and driver.
Head to the Equator or Latitude 0, located 22 km north of Quito.
In the beginning, you will immerse yourself in the history of the ancient pre-Inca civilizations who inhabited this region long before the Europeans came here.
You will find out why the Equator was considered a sacred place. And you will have a chance to make your experiments and observe unique physical phenomena that can only be seen at Latitude 0. Learn the scientific explanation for these phenomena.
Then we will proceed to explore the colonial streets and highlights of Oldtown Quito, which UNESCO recognizes as a world cultural heritage.
Drive up to the "Panecillo de St. Virgen", a remarkable hill in the middle of OldTown.
Return to hotel around 4-5 PM.

Quito altitude - 2850m
9 AM - After breakfast, meet with the guide and drive around 2 hours along the Pan-American Highway on the segment of the Andean Volcanic range called "Avenue of the Volcanoes". The "Avenue of Volcanoes" stretches north to south in the central Sierra region of Ecuador and has over 50 volcanoes on its territory.
On a clear day, you will see a few of them on the way to Cotopaxi National Park, including the iconic Cotopaxi, the active volcano that erupts every 75 years and last time erupted in 2015.
Take an easy hike around the Limpiopungo Lake to enjoy the views of the Cotopaxi giant. Then, drive to a historic colonial-style mansion (aka "hacienda" in South America) located on the outskirts of Cotopaxi. Here, you can have a homemade traditional lunch and take optional activities such as horseback riding.
Back to your hotel around 5 PM.

The altitude of the park 3000m
After breakfast served at the lodge, experience the life on the tree tops from the observation tower (118 ft high). The tower gives you a unique perspective, opening up a whole new world of Amazon biodiversity that is often difficult and almost impossible to see from the understory.
Over 565 species of birds have been registered so far, including colorful birds such as macaws, toucans, honeycreepers, tanagers, flycatchers, hummingbirds, and with a bit of luck a close view of howlers, squirrel monkeys, or sloths resting on the canopy.
Visit the native community. Here you can learn how the community lives in harmony with the Amazon Rainforest. You will learn about their customs, drinks, food, and Kichwa culture, and learn how local life is environmentally sustainable.
Get ready to play with the blowgun, an ancient Kichwa tradition of hunting, and learn from local women how to make artisan chocolate.
After lunch continue exploring the nearby trails searching for more Amazonian creatures, insects, and frogs.

San Cristobal Island
You will board a speedboat and navigate for approximately 45 min to impressive volcanic formations in the ocean. There you have a chance to snorkel with Galapagos sharks (not dangerous to humans), rays, turtles, and, if you are lucky, even hammerhead sharks!
The wall of the rock itself is amazing with lots of tropical fishes, starfishes, corals.. The boat also takes you to a beautiful, pristine beach, where you will have time to relax and swim. you will be back in the mid-afternoon.

Start exploring amazing Isabela island on foot, walking to the giant Sierra Negra volcano crater. Sierra Negra has the second-largest active crater in the world, which is 10km in diameter. The altitude of the crater is about 1200m. The hike is mild, about 1h30min one way, doable for any level of fitness.
Lunch will be served on a local farm, which is also a tortoise reserve.
Then you will check in at your charming hotel located on a pristine beach.
