EXPLORE 2 WORLD-RENOWNED UNESCO HERITAGE SITES ON THIS TRIP:
🇻🇳 Halong Bay:
Cruise on a luxury boat through the iconic limestone karsts and emerald waters of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, and enjoy activities like kayaking and cave exploration.
🇰🇭 Angkor Wat:
Marvel at the ancient temples of Angkor, including the majestic Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm, and Bayon, showcasing the masterpiece of Khmer architecture that was gradually abandoned and fell into disrepair. Angkor Wat remained largely unknown to the outside world until the 19th century when French explorer Henri Mouhot stumbled upon the site during his travels in Cambodia in 1860.

For guests arriving early in the morning, there’s plenty of time to enjoy breakfast and take a relaxed stroll through downtown Saigon. You may choose to visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Reunification Palace, or simply wander along Dong Khoi and Nguyen Hue Streets at a gentle, family-friendly pace.
Overnight in Saigon
This morning, we leave the city behind and drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground maze built by Vietnamese fighters during the war.
Once known as the “Iron Triangle,” this area tells a remarkable story of resilience, ingenuity, and survival. Families can walk through the wider, visitor-friendly sections of the tunnels, see clever hidden entrances, and learn how people lived and moved underground. It’s a fascinating and educational experience for both kids and adults.
In the late afternoon, take a short flight to Hanoi.
After checking in at the hotel, enjoy a delightful water puppet show — a uniquely Vietnamese art form that brings traditional stories to life on the water stage. Children especially love the colorful puppets, lively music, and playful scenes.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Meals: Breakfast
Start exploring Hanoi's Old Town accompanied by an English-speaking local. Visit remarkable historic sites - the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the One-Pillar Pagoda, and the thousand-year-old Temple of Literature.
Then, feel adventurous and enjoy a Hanoi street food tour: wander the labyrinth of streets, sampling pork crepes, fruit drinks, local spices, and Pho noodles before having coffee at a café just inches from the railway tracks, where trains pass through twice a day. Egg Coffee at Giang Café – Taste Hanoi’s famous creamy egg coffee, invented in the 1940s.
In the afternoon, walk through the charming Hang Be Market and make a stop to try the local beer. Then take a breezy cycle ride through the Old Quarter’s 36 streets, named after the products sold in their shops.
Overnight in Hanoi
Meals: breakfast & street food lunch
Today we explore the peaceful countryside around Hanoi — a fun and hands-on day perfect for adults and kids!
Located along the Red River, Bat Trang is one of Vietnam’s oldest and most famous pottery villages, dating back to the 15th century. Families can wander through the ancient lanes, visit traditional ceramic workshops, and learn how these beautiful pieces are crafted.
Kids especially enjoy the pottery-making activity, where they can shape their own small bowl, cup, or vase — a wonderful handmade souvenir to take home.
A colorful and photogenic stop where bright red incense sticks dry in circular patterns. Children love seeing how incense is made and watching the artisans arrange the bundles by hand.
In the afternoon, depart Hanoi for Ninh Binh. Enjoy a scenic countryside drive past rice paddies, grazing water buffalo, goats on limestone hills, and snapshots of quiet rural life — a beautiful contrast to the city.
Arrive in Ninh Binh and check in for an overnight stay. Perfect time to relax, explore the gardens of your eco-lodge, or enjoy a swim before tomorrow’s adventures.
Overnight in NInh Binh (Hotel)
Meals included: Breakfast
Full day of Ninh Binh exploration.
Upon arrival at Mua Cave, begin a leisurely family hike up 486 stone steps to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain. Kids often enjoy turning this into a little “viewpoint challenge,” stopping to spot goats on the cliffs or taking fun photos with the dragon statue at the summit. From the top, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the Tam Coc valley — a magical patchwork of rivers, rice fields, and karst mountains.
Don't forget to have a fresh coconut stop before or after the climb! 🥥🍹
In the afternoon, embark on a peaceful boat ride along the Ngo Dong River, often called “Halong Bay on land.” This relaxing experience is usually a highlight for kids — gliding through caves, watching ducks and small boats pass by, and drifting between dramatic limestone peaks.
Spotting local wildlife along the riverbanks
Going through the three natural grottoes (a fun “adventure tunnel” for children)
Watching how skillfully the boat rowers steer, sometimes rowing with their feet
After breakfast at the hotel, begin your family journey to Halong Bay. The 3.5-hour drive takes you through the peaceful countryside of the Red River Delta — kids will enjoy spotting water buffalos, ducks, rice paddies, and everyday village life along the way.
Upon arrival, board your luxury cruise vessel, your floating home for the night. As the boat glides between hundreds of limestone islands, families can relax on deck, enjoy fresh breezes, and take in the magical scenery.
Your first adventure is a visit to one of Halong Bay’s most impressive caves — a natural masterpiece shaped by wind and water over millions of years. Children love exploring the wide chambers, sparkling formations, and hidden corners.
Next, explore the calm waters of Luon Lagoon, surrounded by steep cliffs and lush vegetation. You can choose between:
a bamboo boat ride rowed by a local guide — perfect for younger kids, or
optional kayaking for families who want a bit more adventure and independence on the water.
Keep an eye out for the playful monkeys that sometimes appear on the rocks!
In the evening, return to the cruise for dinner, stargazing from the deck, and a relaxing night in your 5* Deluxe cabin.
Overnight: Halong Bay Cruise
Meals: Dinner on board
As the cruise makes its way back toward the shore, enjoy a relaxing morning on deck. The boat gently weaves between limestone formations with whimsical shapes — many families love guessing what they look like: fighting roosters, dragons, turtles, or fairy-tale characters rising from the sea. It’s a fun game for kids and adults alike!
Around noon, after having brunch on board, disembark and begin your afternoon drive back to Hanoi Airport for your flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Departure is scheduled for the late afternoon, giving families plenty of time to travel comfortably. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, meet your local guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in.
