The ceremonies will be held according to the Peruvian tradition. This includes singing Icaros (the medicine songs) all night, in the darkness. They will be bringing their own medicine, cooked at their home in the jungle with the water of the sacred boiling river.
Ampiri's medicine is known to be very powerful, deep, & loving.
Doris is originally a Palestinian born in Nazareth.
She started back in 2011 with the medicine, helping and facilitating till she got to Ampiri in 2017 & started serious long diets with master plants & trees alongside facilitating in ceremonies, helping organizing & handling groups at the center till today . She sings in spanish, shipibo, arabic, hebrew, & aramaic.
Gabriel is a naturalist with over 25 years of dedicated study in plant medicine, fasting and diet. Gabriel brings a wealth of knowledge and also the clever ability to convey this knowledge to the western mind. Early in his study, Gabriel was a complete raw foodist for a number of years and studied a plethera of detoxing strategies and purgative plants. Gabriel can teach many things about different types of healing diets and other plant based medicine.
In the Amazon, Gabriel spent many years living in native villages and jungle doing long isolation diets. As a result, Gabriel learned to sing powerful icaros in native dialects such as Quechua and Shipibo. In the amazonian tradition, Gabriel is considered a " Palero" which means he specializes in dieting the most powerful trees of the jungle for long periods of time.
As a couple, Doris & Gabriel bring the healthy feminine and masculine, their ceremonies are very powerful & healing. They will be assisted by Malka Lew. Malka has been leading Plant Medicine ceremonies for 15 years. She trained extensively as a facilitator and was given permission to serve the medicine after doing extensive plant dietas with the Yawanawa tribe of Brazil and the Shipibo tribe of Peru. She is also initiated as a Priestess of Ifa and Osun. After a delicate dance to harmonize both traditions in right relationship, she uses the tools and resources of both her path with Ifa and with the medicine to guide her as a facilitator.
