DAY 4

DAY 4 image

Nafplion-Delphi-Kalambaka

Viewed from above, Nafplion oozes romance: tile roofs, grand homes and a blue-green sea. The famous Bourtzi, Akronafplia and Palamidi castles add a sense of drama to this stunning seaport town, consisting of fortresses, neoclassical buildings, old neighbourhoods, wide sidewalks and large squares. Then, on to Delphi.

The pan-Hellenic sanctuary of Delphi, where the oracle of Apollo spoke, was the site of the omphalos, the 'navel of the world'. Blending harmoniously with the superb landscape and charged with sacred meaning. Then, on to Meteora - Grand Meteora.

Lunch on your own.

Dinner included

DAY 5

Meteora Monasteries

Visit to the Meteora Monasteries, in a fascinating and surreal landscape, built on enormous cliffs, even more than 500 meters high, which give the impression of being suspended in the air. Inside they preserve precious finds of Byzantine art, wonderful frescoes, icons, manuscripts on parchment, ancient gospels and impressive ossuaries. Then, onto the farm.

VISIT AND CHEESE TASTING IN A LOCAL DAIRY FARM

Lunch on your own.

Dinner Included.

Explore Kalambaka on your own then on to Athens.

This day is for you.

Explore Kalambaka on your own, have a leisurely morning, or go for a swim before we head back to Athens. There you can take a stroll through the town of Plaka or Monastiraki, wherever you choose.

This is our last night on the mainland. Tomorrow we board the boat and sail the islands.

Dinner included.

Day 7 - Day 14

Day 7 - Day 14 image

Boarding our Gulet and sailing the islands.

3:00 p.m. we board our home for the next week.

We have dinner on board, a meal of our choosing, cooked for us by our chef.

OMG that sounds so cool doesn't it? Oh, and how could I forget - sipping the wine of our choosing as we go.

And off we go to Mykonos.

For the next week we will be doing pretty much the same as we visit Mykonos, Ios, Naxos, Paros, Santorini and everything else in between. We will have barbecues on the beach, kayaking, swimming and so much more. We will be given a list of events to pick from and there will be other excursions that we can add-on if we choose.

The beauty of this is we are not locked in to any one itinerary here. If we want to spend 2 nights in Santorini, we will do it. As a group we can decide.
