9:00 am – 4:30 pm
Location: 2250 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls, OH
The retreat will be held on the second floor of this building.
It may be cold and snowy outside right now, but Spring will be here in less than seven weeks! The Spring Equinox which occurs on March 20 is when the sun sits vertically above the equator making the amount of day and night equal across the planet. It also means the amount of daylight is growing each day and that incremental light brings lots of opportunities with it.
I can't think of a better time to focus on bringing more light and joy into your life. To give yourself the gift of time to focus on your own personal spring cleaning, self-care, and balance, and to set powerful new intentions.
That is what the Spring it On 2022 yoga retreat is all about!
Join Maria Santoferraro and a few of her Yogini Goddess friends for a day retreat (right here in NE Ohio) filled with yoga, meditation, chanting, healthy eating, community, intention setting, art-making, and a restorative yoga session with a beautiful sound bath.
When you arrive at the retreat there will be coffee, tea, water, and healthy morning snacks available. Then we'll begin the day with a soul-inspiring morning yoga and meditation practice led by Maria that will get you motivated and ready for Spring, followed by a healthy and delicious lunch.
In the afternoon I am excited to announce that my good friend Purandev Kaur who is an art therapist and kundalini yoga teacher will join us to mark this important transition into Spring with a program of intention-setting, meditation, movement, as well a creative art project. Art-making in this context provides us with the opportunity to release our daily thought processes and drop into a right-brain space of receptivity, openness, flow, and mindfulness wherein we can tap into our intuition and inner knowing.
This ceremony will provide you with a sacred space to go within; to reflect, and to set intentions for this upcoming spring season that are in alignment with your highest growth and evolution. Each of the practices will be woven together with love and intention.
No previous experience with art is required and all art supplies will be provided.
The afternoon practice will focus on pranayama breathing and restorative yoga accompanied by a sound Immersion provided by Katie Carp playing crystal bowls, Koshi chimes, gong, and more. Maria will lead you through breathwork, gentle and restorative yoga, and meditation that will bring about a sense of peace, while Katie immerses the room with rich and vibrational sounds that will touch your soul and lift your spirits.
You will leave relaxed, recharged, and ready for all that Spring has to bring!
