Girls LOVE Travel is excited to partner with our dear friend and tour guide Yasser to bring GLT back to Egypt and see all the beauty and history it has to offer!
This trip will give you a taste of Egypt by showing you all around Cairo and Giza. From the pyramids to the mosques, you'll be wowed by all that this area has to show off.
We are offering 2 date options for this trip in 2025:

As much as we want for this trip to go exactly as planned, we can not plan for complications that arise especially due to inclement weather or closures due to extenuating circumstances like Covid-19. While we hope all attendees choose to get vaccinated against Covid 19 - we are not requiring proof of vaccination for this trip.
For the safety of all trip attendees, we are requiring that ALL attendees provide a negative covid test 72 hours prior to the trip. Home tests are accepted. You can email it to glttrips@gmail.com.
We will be following all COVID protocols to ensure the safety of everyone on the trip. Please be prepared to bring a mask to wear on the airport transfer, any enclosed experiences &/or local shops.
Girls LOVE Travel will not be giving any refunds for those who test positive and are not able to join the trip. We highly encourage travel insurance to cover instances like this.
Your spot on this trip will be secured when we receive a deposit of $500. Upon receipt, the deposit paid is nonrefundable and non-transferable.
If you would like to stay in a single room for the duration of the trip, the extra cost is $550 -- This can not be canceled or refunded closer than 45 days before the trip.
The remaining balance is due by 60 days before departure date.
We will be happy to set up a payment plan that works for you.
Cancellation and Refunds
In the event that you need to cancel your trip, these fees will be applied:
• Between Now-61 days before your arrival date, GLT retains only nonrefundable deposit
• Between 60 and 46 days before your arrival date, GLT retains 50% of the entire tour price
• Between 45 and 31 days before your arrival date, GLT retains 75% of the entire tour price
• Between 30 days and duration of trip, GLT retains 100% of the entire tour price
Arrival:
Arrive to Cairo (CAI) anytime on the first day. You'll be met by the agent and transferred to your hotel to settle in. If you arrive early and want help with hotels or extra activities, let us know!
Departure:
Depart from Cairo (CAI) after 12pm so you can have time to enjoy breakfast, transfer to the airport and depart.

As soon as you get off the plane, you will see our airport agent holding a sign with your name on it. He will help you get your Egyptian visa, lead you through VIP passport control, through baggage claim, and then escort you to your hotel!

Overnight at Cairo Hotel
You can't start a tour of amazing Egypt without a visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza!
These three phenomenal pyramids served as monumental burial sites where the Ancient Egyptian kings were buried. You will have the option to enter the biggest and most famous - the Great Pyramid of Cheops.
We'll take a brief Camel Ride in front of the Pyramids with individual and group portraits! After, we will visit the Great Sphinx.
We will enjoy lunch in an authentic restaurant overlooking the pyramids, The Nine Pyramids Lounge. This restaurant is the only restaurant inside the pyramid gates, and it is an incredible view. Get your camera ready!
After lunch , we will head to the Papyrus Institute to learn how Papyrus is created and used for paintings. We will then go to the perfumery and glass-blowing shop to try different scents and see how they create glass-blown bottles and artwork. They can create a custom scent for you (and sometimes even duplicate your favorite perfume from home!)
For dinner, we will enjoy a meal by the pyramids before heading back to the hotel.

Overnight in Cairo Hotel
Today we will venture out to Sakkara, an area just outside of Giza.
We'll start by visiting the Sakkara complex, with access to the newly opened step pyramid, King Teti's pyramid, and Noble's private tombs.
We will then visit a local carpet school, to see the intricate detail and time that goes into each carpet they create by hand. Its mind-blowing to see the skill that it takes to create an traditional Egyptian carpet.
We will then enjoy lunch at an open air village restaurant where they make fresh bread and authentic food!
After lunch, we will head back to the hotel. You will have a free afternoon to relax and enjoy the hotel ammenities.

Overnight in Cairo Hotel
We will start the morning by visiting the New Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), including admission to the treasury of King Tut.
We will enjoy lunch at an authentic restaurant before stopping at goldsmith to see how they make gold and silver goods.
Later, we will visit Islamic Cairo - Ibn Tulun Mosque and Sutan Hassan Mosque. Our tour of the day will finish with a tour of the grand Albaster Mosque of King Muhammad Ali.
We'll head back for a free evening. There will be an optional dinner cruise on the Nile this evening.

We will have an open morning to give options to sleep in, enjoy hotel amenities, or just to relax.
After stopping for lunch together, we will start our day with the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which has a great collection of antiquities narrating the story of Egypt from ancient times until modern day.
Next, we will head to the Nile and take an authentic felucca (sailboat) ride. Its a great way to see the city of Cairo from a different perspective!
We will then head to the Souk of Khan El Khalili, where you can shop and learn about traditional Egyptian goods in this bustling area of the city. Its a great place to get souvenirs to bring back with you!
After shopping til you drop, we will head to our farewell dinner, to talk all about the trip and enjoy a meal together one last time!

After a thrilling trip in Cairo and Giza, it is time to head home.
But don't worry- you'll have your memories and new friends to last until the next trip!
