As much as we want for this trip to go exactly as planned, we can not plan for complications that arise especially due to inclement weather or closures due to extenuating circumstances like Covid-19.
While we hope that our trip attendees are vaccinated against COVID-19, we will not be requiring proof of vaccination to attend the trip. To ensure the safety of all GLTers on the trip, everyone will need to provide a negative covid test prior to the trip. Home tests are accepted. You can email it to glttrips.covid@gmail.com.
Girls LOVE Travel will not be giving any refunds for those who test positive and are not able to join the trip. We highly encourage travel insurance to cover instances like this.
We will be following all COVID protocols to ensure the safety of everyone on the trip.
Additionally, the tour is listed as a package, and no price adjustments will be given if someone wants to "opt-out" of an included activity.
Your spot will be secured when we receive your deposit. The deposit is non-refundable.

The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to sailing. If you pay your balance by July 27, you get a $100 credit returned to you!
In the event that you need to cancel your trip, these fees will be applied:
Now- 45 days before the trip: the nonrefundable deposit will be held. Any amount paid over the deposit will be refunded.
44 days- trip date: no refund is possible.
Virgin Voyages requires Sailors to have a valid passport with an expiration date at least 6 months after the voyage end date. Additionally, depending on your country of citizenship, certain ports may also require a visa for entry.
However, we understand that spontaneous getaways sometimes occur without sufficient time for passport arrangements. If you fall into this category and you are sailing out of Miami, on an eligible closed-loop voyage, and are a United States citizen, we can make an exception to the passport requirement.

In the unlikely event of a medical emergency or unexpected departure from the vessel, a passport will be necessary. Please keep in mind, the above guidelines are based on government regulations, which are subject to change at any time.

Arrival:
Fly into Miami Airport (MIA) at least one day before the cruise departs. It is highly recommended to give time to arrive in case of delays, cancellations, etc. If you miss the cruise embarkation, the ship will leave without you. Reduce that chance by arriving early! Embarkation will take place at 4pm on November 24.
Departure:
Fly out of Miami Airport (MIA) after 12pm to ensure enough time to disembark at 6:30am, collect bags, transfer to the airport (30 minutes) get through security, etc. Timings for disembarkation are subject to adjustments, and it is better to have more time to plan for delays.

Board the ship at 4:00pm and get ready for the fun to begin!
Get settled into your room and roam the ship alongside other GLTers. Welcome to paradise!
You have a free day on the ship, and the ability to do anything you wish.
Go for a swim, visit the spa, dine at one of the many eateries, or even catch a show!
We'll arrive at Puerto Plata at 10:00am, and disembark.
You have options for excursions through Virgin Voyages, or can explore on your own.
The ship departs at 7:00pm, so be sure to take note when re-embarkation is to ensure you make it to the ship on time.
Once on the ship, you can sit back and relax as we sail to the next destination.
You have another day at sea to enjoy the ship!

At 8:00am, the ship will arrive to Bimini, Bahamas.
You have the option to enjoy the Beach Club, or take part in the excursion offerings. You'll have the opportunity to swim with stingrays, take a dive, or take a cultural tour. You can also just relax on the beach if you wish!
The ship departs at 7pm, so be sure to note the re-embarkation times set up by the ship to ensure you make it in time.
After 6 days of fun, it's time to disembark in Miami. The ship arrives at 6:30am to the terminal.
From there, you can make your way to the airport, or extend your stay.
