La Karavana is made up of three travel-loving women from the Netherlands who came up with the idea to turn a double decker bus into a driving & living experience! We will take to the road on a 6 day/5 night roadtrip around the Netherlands, with local guides to show us along the way.
We have filled this trip with unique Dutch experiences to give you a taste of what the Netherlands has to offer. Since we will be there at the start of tulip season and over Easter weekend, you'll get to welcome in spring with a variety of fresh blooms!

With the close nature of this trip- we want to ensure we are as safe as possible. Since this trip involves close quarters and shared common areas, a negative covid test taken within 72 hours before the event is required for all attendees.
By signing up for this trip, you understand that Girls LOVE Travel and La Karavana will not be responsible for any issues that may arise from COVID or from injury that may occur on the trip.
Negative COVID Test will need to be shown via email prior to the trip. No entry or refunds will be given if you arrive without a negative COVID test, or if you test positive and are unable to join us on the trip.
If the trip is unable to happen due to government restrictions, we will provide refunds for the trip. GLT is not responsible for any flights or additional costs due to the cancellation and highly recommends that everyone on all trips has travel insurance.
Girls LOVE Travel and La Karavana are not responsible for your health or personal property on this trip, and is not responsible if a member gets hurt or injured.
Please note that the deposit of $500 to hold your spot is nonrefundable.
If you need to cancel, here are the dates to keep in mind for the cancellation policy:
Full payment is due 60 days before the trip (January 29).
*If you need a payment plan, please reach out to GLT at glttrips@gmail.com and we will work something out with you.
* Now until 60 days from the trip date (January 29) - any amount paid after the nonrefundable $500 deposit will be refunded.
* 59-31 days or less before the trip date (January 30-February 27) - 50% of the package price ($900) will be held by GLT.
* 30 days or less before the trip date (On or after February 28) - full amount is due, and no refunds will be possible.
For this trip- travel insurance is required for all participants that covers the following:
- Cancellation
- Luggage Loss
- Healthcare Costs
- Extreme sports (only mandatory if taking part in extreme activities)
Girls LOVE Travel recommends Trawick International for your trip needs. If you are doing extreme sports (i.e. skydiving) we recommend the Safetreker Sport Package.

You've made it to Amsterdam, woohoo!!
Get ready to travel like a rockstar through Amsterdam. This trip is going to be amazing!
You'll be picked up by the Hostelbus at Schiphol airport (AMS) starting at 9am to embark on your journey across the Netherlands.
The bus will head out to Kamerik for a tour around Boerinn, where you'll learn about farm life in the countryside.
Lunch (at your own expense)
After lunch, you'll learn how to herd sheep!
We will then head to Campsite de ReCreatie for dinner and settle for the night.
Meals included: Dinner
The morning will be available for you to explore. You can complete a hike or just grab a book and chill.
Lunch will be provided at the campsite.
After lunch, we will drive to Renswoude where we will get on an e-chopper (electric scooter) through Utrechtse Heuvelrug.
Dinner will be at Grand Cafe de Kromme.
Then we'll head back to Campsite de ReCreatie to settle down for the evening.

It‘s Easter morning and we'll make our way to Kinderdijk, a UNESCO World Heritage village known for its iconic 18th-century windmills.
These magnificent windmills were built around 1740 to help keep the low-lying land of the Alblasserwaard dry.
We’ll take a boat tour to see and learn more about how these mills combat rising waters and visit the local museum.

We’ll be exploring Delft, a charming canal-ringed town with historical monuments, medieval architecture and known for its hand-painted blue and white pottery.
Upon arrival, we’ll head over to Royal Delft for High Tea. During this time, you’ll get to use and admire Delftware. Keep in mind the pieces that capture your attention, since you’ll have the opportunity to paint your own tile afterwards.
The afternoon will be yours to explore. Dinner will be at De Beierd.
Afterwards, we drive to Buitenplaats de Strandwal to settle down for the evening.

The long awaited moment is here - today we get to discover the magic behind Holland‘s greatest icon: the tulip!
We’ll start out by learn the tulip’s journey around the world and its cultivation cycle. Then step into the show garden to view 1 million planted tulips featuring over 700 different varieties. There are a number of special photo points that are perfect for that keepsake memory. You’ll also have the opportunity to pick your own tulips at the indoor picking garden.
Afterwards, we’ll enjoy explore and enjoy a packed lunch at Keukenhof botanical garden. 2024 will mark the 75th edition of this stunning spring-flowering park.
Then back onto our bus to drive to Buitenplaats de Strandwal for dinner and rest.

We will enjoy our breakfast together and then drive over to visit the local tulip fields for one final tulip experience.
On our way back, we’ll stop by the supermarket to buy some Dutch Chocolate Sprinkles (you don’t want to miss out on bringing these home)!
Our farewell lunch will be at the bus before we drive to Nieuw Vennep and say farewell to our beloved hostel bus and tour guides before heading back to reality.
