A visa is required to enter Zimbabwe. We strongly recommend obtaining the KAZA Univisa, which allows multiple entries between Zimbabwe and Zambia, and also covers day trips to Botswana.

  • KAZA Univisa Cost: The KAZA UNIVISA costs USD 50 and allows tourists to obtain one visa to visit both countries multiple times. The visa is valid up to 30 days in any given period of 12 months, as long as the holder remains within Zambia and Zimbabwe. It also covers those who visit Botswana for  day-trips through Kazungula Borders.
  • Document Requirements: A valid passport with at least 6 months validity and blank pages for stamps

šŸ“ ZAMBIA

No visa is required for U.S. passport holders visiting Zambia for short stays (tourism). Simply present your valid passport upon arrival.

šŸ“ BOTSWANA (Day Trip to Chobe)

No visa is required for U.S. citizens for short tourist visits. A valid passport is sufficient.

Important Note for Travelers with Minors (under 18 years):

  • A certified copy of the child’s birth certificate is required.
  • If a child is traveling with only one parent or a guardian, a notarized letter of consent from the non-traveling parent or legal guardian is required.
    • The letter should authorize the child to travel internationally and specifically permit the accompanying adult to travel with the child.
