Tipping Culture:
Switzerland does not have a strong tipping culture, but rounding up the bill in restaurants or tipping guides and drivers for excellent service is appreciated.
Visa Requirements (U.S. Citizens)
U.S. passport holders do NOT need a visa to enter Switzerland for tourism stays of up to 90 days within the Schengen Area.
ETIAS Travel Authorization (IMPORTANT)
Travelers from visa-exempt countries — including the United States — will be required to obtain an ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) approval prior to traveling to Switzerland and other Schengen countries.
What is ETIAS?
ETIAS is an electronic pre-travel authorization, similar to the U.S. ESTA. It allows authorities to conduct security checks on travelers before arrival in Europe.

Welcome to the largest city in Switzerland — Zurich!
Upon arrival, your driver meets you at the airport and transfers you to your remarkable hotel* for check-in.
The rest of the day is free, so you can relax in your room, have dinner in a local restaurant, start exploring the nearby attractions.
One vehicle for the group is provided, so similar arrival times are preferred.
After breakfast, enjoy a Zurich city tour covering key highlights and neighborhoods.
This is followed by a visit to the Lindt Home of Chocolate, including a 1.5-hour immersive experience with multiple tasting opportunities.
Return to the hotel; remainder of the day at leisure.
Full-day excursion.
Highlights include Lucerne sightseeing, ascent on the Rotair cable car to Mount Titlis (3,028 m), snow activities, the Glacier Cave, and the Cliff Walk.
Return to Zurich for the evening.
After check out, meet your driver for the transfer to the hotel in Interlaken (2hr drive).
