A yoga retreat immersed in nature and bliss.
7 nights, 7 days all inclusive yoga retreat located near Puerto Vallarta Mexico on the Pacific Ocean. Hara Mara retreat center is nestled in the jungle with nature paths weaving and connecting casitas, yoga shalas, dining space, infinity pool and private beach. Casitas are off grid (meaning no electricity) and powered by candle light; each casita or dorm is equip with purified drinking water, bathroom, and outdoor shower.
About the yoga practices:
Morning practices will be about 1.5 hours and will consist of vigorous Vinyasa Flow, pranayama (breathwork), meditation and extended savasana. The practices will progress through the week, integrating conceptual and philosophical themes with the intention of experiencing joy!
Afternoon practices will be about 1 hour and will consist of yin/restorative and deep relaxation; also integrating daily themes and philosophy.
Yoga nidra sessions in the evening after dinner on Monday & Thursday.
Workshops/Discussions in the afternoons on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. Topics will vary depending on the group, and requests. Examples could be philosophy, specific asanas, pranayama.
Lila - is sanskrit for sacred play. In yoga tradition lila is the divine play of the universe. The yogis see the manifest world as divine play, embodied as spirit.
Rasa - is sanskrit for what in english we might understand as "taste" but with all the senses.
Rasa Lila is fine tuning our senses to the environment around us as inseparable from our inner experience - a continual interaction with the Divine that brings us into presence and the recognition of the ever present synchronicities at play in the universe.
It is through yoga practices that we can uncover or dissolve the stuff that prevents us from being in our true nature - which is joy.
This yoga retreat is about letting go, to open up in curiosity and wonder of the beauty of life, the joy of life all around. It's also about resonating to the vibration of nature as we are immersed in at this magical retreat center.
Guests must be able to climb stairs daily, walk on uneven ground, sleep without a fan or AC, and be open to being close with nature!

Cancellation for emergency situations - natural disaster, death in the family, serious medical condition/injury - prior to 90 days, 100% of payments will be refunded (excluding $500 deposit). Cancellation within 90 days for emergency situations will be considered, 50% of all payments will be refunded - unless spot is filled, then 100% of payments can be refunded.
Casitas are built on the hillside overlooking the ocean nestled in the jungle. Beds have bug nets. Drinking water in every casita. Attached bathroom. No electricity.
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are provided in communal dining area.
2 hour vinyasa morning practice; 1 hour afternoon yin/restorative practice in designated yoga pavilions.
At least two yoga nidra sessions offered in the evenings after dinner
Three 1 hr mini-workshops in the afternoon just before the afternoon yoga session. Topics will vary depending on group and requests. Possible topics: philosophy, breath, specific asanas.
Cacao ceremony guided by KuKu Cacao, local mom and daughter team bringing the most magical authentic cacao ceremony you will ever experience.
There is a locked storage provided in each casita for your valuables.
Infinity pool overlooking Pacific Ocean, with large common area with poolside bar (drinks not inlcuded)
Arrive and depart Puerto Vallarta airport (PVR). Try to find flights that arrive before 4pm.
Transport can be arranged; but is not included.

Alcohol, smoothies and other beverages are available at the poolside bar.
