It’s playtime!
Join us this summer for 6 days/5 nights at Tops’L Farm in Maine where Starr Mill Yoga will host Sleep-Away Camp for Grown-Ups and a yoga retreat all rolled into one!
The further you get along the spiritual path, the more you realize that evolving as a human isn’t about becoming more of an adult as much as it is about returning to the state of childlike wonder and joy that came so effortlessly when you were a kid.
This retreat is all about reclaiming the carefree, spontaneous, silly person that is buried underneath all the responsibilities and protective layers you’ve piled on over the years. The name of this game is having fun and honing your Child’s Pose too! Laugh until your belly hurts playing traditional summer camp games. Learn how yoga can help to reveal your youthful essence through story time, partner yoga, and traditional practice. Try your skills at archery, jump in the canoe, toast marshmallows around the campfire, or sleep the morning away in your cozy woodlands cabin.
You will return home refreshed and revived, with a lighter spirit and a grateful heart. So pack your yoga mat and your favorite teddy bear. No adulting allowed!
Woodland adventure awaits! Ten A-frame cabins tucked in the woods are minimally furnished with two twin beds and one A-frame cabin is a Queen suite with a private outdoor shower, composting toilet and electricity. A wonderful option to escape it all, each cabin site includes its own private fire pit, 2 outdoor chairs, a lantern and room to breathe.
Showers & toilets are located just steps away from the cabin sites near our picnic area. Electronics charging station and lock boxes are located at the bath house for each site for your convenience. There is no electricity in the cabins. The water in the campground is potable and fresh from a newly dug well. Vintage paperbacks, board games, lawn games and an electric kettle for emergency caffeine are provided.
Newly renovated with a chef kitchen, marble countertops, large seating areas and lots of sunlight, the farmhouse at Tops’l Farm is a gorgeous option for groups to congregate on property. A mix of vintage furniture with a modern farmhouse touch fills this centrally located space for groups to gather and relax.
Daily brunch for the entire group is served in the Farmhouse.
A quintessential Maine Cottage, decorated with a mixture of vintage and new furnishings. Two bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a daybed in the den and the cutest porch in all of Lincoln County. Fully furnished and complete with basic kitchen amenities & Wi-Fi.
Food is the connector of most all things at Tops’l Farm. They understand the importance of sharing food with others and have elevated this experience on the farm to include a variety of options for our group. Tops'l is prepared to curate a food experience for your time on the farm that will be as memorable as any.
Each morning will start with a lite bite, coffee, tea, juice. After morning yoga, a delicious hearty brunch will be served in the Farmhouse. Snacks will be available later in the afternoon and an early farm to table dinner will be served in the barn.
If you have favorite snacks, feel free to pack them up in a cooler, throw it in your car and bring them with you!
I'm not gonna lie, I'm kind of excited about the camp store! Need provisions for your stay? Check out Tops'l Farm's very own camp store located adjacent to the main parking area by the barn. They offer hand picked selections of natural & biodynamic wines, craft beers from Maine and some of their very own farm products. Keep a lookout for the “Open Sign” during our stay to snag some Tops’l swag before you head home!
Tops'l Farm has created beautiful spaces in nature for you to enjoy. There are fluffy things and delicious things and surprises to make your stay with us just a smidge easier than roughing it on your own. But let’s be clear — it IS camping. At Tops’l you will build your own fire. You will share bathrooms and read by candlelight. There might even be noises in the night and yes, there are bugs. A no-frills experience offers you a chance to get back to your roots and find joy in simplicity.
