About your trip

Our Galapagos Unplugged Summer Camp is designed for young adventurers who want to disconnect from the everyday world and connect with nature, yourself and with other kids. They will learn while exploring and discovering the magic of the Galapagos Islands.

OUR TEAM

Galapagos Unplugged has a team of experts at various levels: Education, Psychology, Interpretation, Nature and Sea. Naturalist guides certified by the Galapagos National Park and Wilderness Advance First Aid (WAFA).


The team in charge has more than 20 years of experience in managing groups in the Galapagos Islands in both land and sea programs.

Entrance fee to the Galapagos National Park: USD. 6,00 Ecuadorian residents; USD. 100,00 foreigners. To be paid in cash upon arrival to the islands.

DAY 1

DAY 1 image

Disconnect and travel to the Galapagos Islands

- Flight from Quito or Guayaquil to the Galapagos Islands. Arrival to Santa Cruz Island.

- Transfer from the airport to the Camp Site at Montemar

- Lunch

- Introduction meeting to the area and camp set up.

- Dinner

- Camp Fire and stars observation.

Day 2

Day 2 image

Kayak and Snorkelling

- Cup of tea for sunrising

- Breakfast with the group

- Full day visit to Tortuga Bay Beach for kayaking and snorkeling

- Picnic Box lunch at the beach

- Return to the camp in the afternoon

- Dinner

- Camp Fire and learning knot techniques


Day 3

Day 3 image

Hike to the highest peak at Santa Cruz Island

Cup of tea for sunrising

- Breakfast with the group

- Full day hike to the Puntudo and practice the knot techniques.

- Picnic Box lunch 

- Return to the camp in the afternoon

- Dinner

- Camp Fire and learn how to start a fire.

Day 4

Day 4 image

Practice of survival techniques and Bay Tour

Cup of tea for sunrising

- Breakfast with the group

- Morning of activities at the camp: survival techniques, yoga and meditation.

- Lunch

- Bay tour which includes: swimming snorkeling and exploring the Bay of Santa Cruz Island.

- Back to the Camp for dinner

- Camp Fire and learning how to build a shelter.

Day 5

Day 5 image

Visiting the Giant Tortoises

Cup of tea for sunrising

- Breakfast with the group

- Full day visit to the EL Chato Reserve for learning and investigating  the Giant Tortoises.

- Picnic Box lunch 

- Return to the camp in the afternoon

- Dinner

- Camp Fire and learning First Aid techniques.

Day 6

Day 6 image

Beach Day with BBQ

- Breakfast with the group

- Full day visit to the Garrapatero Beach- BBQ

- Return to the camp in the afternoon

- Dinner

- Camp Fire and stars observation. Debrief about our week experiences. 

Day 7

Day 7 image

Farewell Galapagos-Back to Quito

- Breakfast at the Camp.

- Packing and getting ready to depart.

- Transfer to the airport for flight back home.
