Discover Mendoza's crown jewel, the prestigious Uco Valley, Argentina's most sophisticated and elevated wine region. Developed in the early 2000s, this high-altitude oasis sits at the foothills of the Andes Mountains and has quickly become home to some of the world's most acclaimed wineries. The Uco Valley's unique terroir, with vineyards planted at elevations up to 5,000 feet, produces wines with exceptional complexity and character that are distinctly different from other Mendoza regions.
Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the famous "Los Cerrillos route," winding through rolling hills that lead you from Mendoza city to this mountain oasis. Along the way, you'll traverse the "productive corridor," a highly fertile region renowned for producing premium fruits and vegetables for both export and domestic markets throughout Argentina. The breathtaking views of the Andes Mountains become more spectacular as you approach the valley, offering unparalleled vistas of Argentina's majestic mountain range.
Throughout the tour, we will visit three carefully selected wineries, each showcasing the unique high-altitude expressions that make Uco Valley wines so distinctive.
We usually visit small, family-run and boutique wineries that offer intimate, authentic experiences. A paired lunch with wines is included at one of the wineries, where you'll savor local cuisine perfectly matched with the region's exceptional wines. If there's a specific winery you've been longing to visit, just let us know, and we can make arrangements for a custom tour (extra cost may apply).
