About your trip
Off The Grid is an intermediate mix of servicing the people and stepping outside of your comfort zone. Your journey will start with taking one of our ATVs or motor scooters into the developing communities to deliver clean drinkable water (DarAgua) or offer immediate food assistance. You will be servicing areas that are not located on Google Maps. At times, you will be without cell service and electricity. 4North will train you on offering Non-Medical Eye exams. Once you perform several tests with our charting system, we will send the people to our glasses distribution center, where they can pick out the style and color of their free glasses.
The 4North Project continues to refresh their packages and programs to focus on, not only the impact of our developing communities, but your personal safety and security. 4North has added several brand new tours throughout Southern Dominican Republic to keep you excited and energized!

Your Journey Begins: After your 4North Representative greets you at the airport, you'll be driven to the team guest house. Once you're settled in, you will review the projects and programs for the rest of the week.

Tour • Connect • Deliver: We will tour past build projects, local colmados, markets and schools. You will also experience, first hand, very special connections with the people of the Dominican Republic while delivering clean drinkable water (DarAgua) or immediate food assistance to the developing communities.

We will end our day celebrating poolside and enjoying a rooftop restaurant.

Until We Meet Again: After you say your goodbyes, you will travel from the guest house to the airport for a safe flight home.
