What would change if you let this be the summer you felt fully alive?
June in Maine is expansive. The days stretch long. Light lingers into evening. The air hums with growth and possibility.
Summer doesn’t whisper.
It invites you out.
This four-day Play Retreat is not about productivity.
Not about fixing yourself.
Not about reinventing your life.
It’s about remembering joy.
Reclaiming curiosity.
Reconnecting to the part of you that feels light, expressive, and free.
Because somewhere along the way, many of us learned that play was optional — something indulgent, something to earn.
But what if play is essential?
What if joy is medicine?
What if aliveness is the point?
By June, the year has momentum. Responsibilities are stacking. Expectations are louder.
Maybe you’re:
Feeling stretched thin and craving spaciousness
Carrying a lot and longing to feel lighter
Successful but disconnected from joy
Navigating transition and unsure what’s next
Wanting creativity without pressure or performance
Summer offers expansion.
This retreat offers permission.
This is not chaos.
This is structured freedom.
Each day is thoughtfully designed to help you loosen your grip, reconnect to your body, and explore without outcome.
Guided experiences designed to spark curiosity and aliveness:
Creative expression (no artistic skill required) (Energy Map Workshop)
Movement & intuitive based exploration (Yoga & Tarot experiences )
Nature-based sensory experiences (Group Hike or Trip to the Ocean)
Guided reflection woven gently throughout (Bonfire Ceremony & Circles)
All experiences optional!
Instead of rigid goal-setting, we explore:
What feels energizing right now?
What feels heavy?
What wants more space this summer?
Where are you craving more expression?
Create a "Summer Energy Map" that reflects how you want to feel, not what you need to accomplish
You will go home with a new idea of what play looks like.
What does play look like in your actual week?
Where can you soften seriousness?
What small practices will you carry forward?
Not a rigid action plan.
A sustainable rhythm.
Between sessions, there is spacious, unstructured time for:
Massage appointments
Meadowhouse rituals: sauna, wood-fired hot tub, cold plunge
Long June walks across open fields
Journaling in the sun
Afternoon naps
Doing absolutely nothing
Because play and rest are intertwined.
And clarity arrives when we stop forcing it.
3 nights comfortable accommodation (various room options)
Farm-to-table meals celebrating early summer abundance
Daily optional yoga & gentle movement
All Play Lab materials & creative supplies
Summer Energy Map creation materials
Full access to Meadowhouse: Sauna, Wood-Fired Hot Tub & Cold Plunge
All retreat programming (entirely optional)
60-minute massage
Organic bath amenities
83 acres of trails, open sky, and early summer magic
Your Summer Energy Map
Creative practices to continue at home
A gentle integration plan
Meaningful new connections
Lightness in your body
Laughter you didn’t have to earn
Permission to be less serious
A renewed relationship with joy
The memory of feeling free
Summer is not asking you to do more.
It’s asking you to step outside.
To move.
To soften.
To experiment.
To remember who you are when you’re not performing.
This is your invitation to play!

We focus on simple, nourishing dishes made with seasonal ingredients—the kind of warm, satisfying food your body truly craves in winter. Expect hearty soups, fresh-baked bread, nourishing stews, and cozy tea by the fire (with cake—because January doesn’t have to mean deprivation).

We do not enforce strict rules. Our intention is to create a supportive space where you can truly recharge and reconnect.
Digital Detox
We highly encourage you to power down or tuck your phone away for the weekend. This retreat is about presence, not productivity. If that feels overwhelming, honor what works best for you—we trust you to choose wisely.
Alcohol
The same philosophy applies. Whether you choose to enjoy the weekend alcohol-free or not, we respect your decision. Please remain mindful that others may be making different choices.

Questions?
Please reach out to us at hello@topslfarm.com. We’re here to help make your winter retreat nourishing, restorative, and deeply supportive.
We understand that the words “group retreat” can sometimes feel intimidating.
Please know: the atmosphere here is grounded in sensitivity, respect, and sincerity.
Every retreat is guided by Jess Nelson, our Director of Wellness & Community, who deeply attunes to the needs and energy of each group. Her approach is steady, intuitive, and rooted in creating environments where people feel both supported and free.
No two groups are ever the same. The experience is designed to evolve in real time, meeting the collective exactly where it is. Discussions, pacing, and depth are adjusted to reflect what feels aligned and nourishing.
This is important: nothing is ever mandatory.
You are the authority on your own needs.
If you crave deep dialogue, the space will be there.
If you need quiet reflection, solitude is honored.
If you prefer to observe before engaging, that is welcome too.
Sometimes the most powerful permission is simply the ability to choose.
If you are seeking authentic connection, we promise a space where honesty is welcomed, personal truth is celebrated, and vulnerability is met with care.
The depth of each retreat unfolds naturally — shaped by the beautiful, unique constellation of humans who gather together.
And whatever that constellation looks like, you will be met with warmth..
For each retreat, we gift one spot to a woman who deeply needs rest, support, and connection but may not have the financial means to attend.
If you feel called and have the capacity, you’re invited to contribute a little extra to help us continue growing this gifted offering. Every contribution—big or small—directly supports making this pause possible for someone who truly needs it.
You’ll see an option at checkout to “add on” a donation toward this gifted retreat spot.
Thank you for helping us expand the circle.ck out.
