CHINCHERO, ABRA MALAGA, INCA JUNGLE TRAIL, ECO QUECHUA LODGE

6:00 - 6:30 am: Early morning pick-up in your hotel lobby by an Eco Quechua Adventures representative. Transportation service through the amazing Sacred Valley with stops in various archaeological ruins along the way and fantastic photo opportunities. We cross over the 4,316m high Malaga Pass at the base of massive glaciers, arriving in Santa Maria in time for lunch. After, we prepare ourselves for an afternoon hike along the Inca jungle trail, reaching Eco Quechua lodge at the end of the day where you will enjoy a special candlelit dinner in our riverfront restaurant.

COFFEE TOUR, LLACTAPATA INCA TRAIL, ECO QUECHUA LODGE

After an early start and a warm, nourishing breakfast, begin your day traveling to the starting point of the Llactapata Inca Trail. A short, gentle 20-minute walk leads you to a charming coffee plantation, where local experts will share their passion for sustainable cultivation and the deep cultural importance of coffee in Santa Teresa. It is said that Santa Teresa produces some of the best organic coffee in the world—a perfect setting to enjoy a shared tasting from plant to cup, an intimate moment for two.

Continue with a beautiful 2–3 hour ascent toward the Llactapata Pass (2,700 m / 8,900 ft). Along the way, enjoy quiet paths, lush nature, and moments just for you and your partner. At the top, a rare and magical reward awaits: a distant yet enchanting view of Machu Picchu from the southwest, a sight few travelers ever witness.

Lunch is served nearby, with Machu Picchu in view, offering a peaceful and unforgettable dining moment together.

After lunch, begin a gentle 2–3 hour descent through bamboo forests, orchids, and coffee fields, making your way toward the Aobamba River. It's a tranquil walk perfect for slow conversation and shared appreciation of nature.

Enjoy a 30-minute transfer back to Eco Quechua Lodge, arriving in the late afternoon.

ZIPLINE, HOT SPRINGS & A ROMANTIC EVENING AT ECO QUECHUA LODGE (1,530

Wake to the peaceful sounds of the forest and enjoy a slow, intimate morning at Eco Quechua Lodge. Choose between a thrilling zipline experience, a private bird-watching outing, soothing hot springs, or a couples massage with Andean sauna therapy.

Spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge before a brief evening orientation with your guide.

MACHU PICCHU & RETURN TO THE SACRED VALLEY OR CUSCO

This magical day is devoted to discovering Machu Picchu, the Sanctuary of the Sun, alongside your guide. Wander together through its mist-kissed terraces and ancient temples—an unforgettable moment shared with the one you love.

In the afternoon, return hand-in-hand to Aguas Calientes to board the train back toward the Sacred Valley. Disembark in Ollantaytambo, where your private transfer awaits to take you to the hotel of your choice in Ollantaytambo, Urubamba, or Cusco.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, and for a seamless day, we recommend purchasing a box lunch before departing for Machu Picchu.
