In 1901, 125 years ago, 218 Shriners from across America gathered in California and sailed to Honolulu by cruise ship to establish the Aloha Shriners. Since then, through their philanthropic efforts and community spirit, the Aloha Shriners have helped children from Hawaiʻi and across the Pacific Rim overcome a range of pediatric medical conditions, regardless of a family’s ability to pay or insurance status.
