About your trip

Panchase hiking is considered a comparatively easy hiking route than other high-altitude treks of Nepal’s Himalayas and is suitable for all age groups and all fitness levels so this is an ideal trek that you can enjoy with your friends and family together. Panchase hill station is situated at 2500m from the sea level and south-west direction from Pokhara city. The stunning 360 degrees of great Himalayan peaks like Machhapuchhre (fishtail mountain), Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Lamjung, Manaslu, and Himchuli Himalayan ranges can be seen on this trail with the understanding of old-century Hinduism tails.


While doing this adventurous hiking you will pass through many beautiful ethnic Gurung villages and chance to do interaction with the friendly villagers. This Hike will encounter various geographical terrains, deep gorges fast-flowing streams coming down from the Himalayas, dense forest walks, rice paddies, rhododendron forests, old stone thatched Nepali houses, and various wildlife found in the Annapurna region. 


During the end of the tour, we will also visit various social projects based in Sarangkot village. We will learn more about Arabica coffee farming by visiting a non-profit community-based organization and meeting with small coffee farmers and understand their challenges in organic Coffee farming and Beekeeping. We will also taste the organic coffee produced locally.

DAY 1

ARRIVAL IN POKHARA: D/A

  

We will pick you up from Pokhara Airport or Pokhara Tourist Bus park and Overnight at Pokhara Hotel. Enjoy your beautiful dinner on the lakeside unique restaurants by overlooking Phewa Lake.  

Day 2

HALLANCHOWK TO BHUMDI (1520M ALTITUDE): B/L/D/A

After breakfast, Departure from Hallanchowk Lakeside or our office your English-speaking guide will take you to the boat station and you will do boating across Phewa Lake, climb the beautiful forests and reach the famous world peace pagoda which is one of the 80 peaceful pagodas worldwide to symbolize the peace throughout the world. From the world peace pagoda, you can see the stunning view of the Dhaulagiri -Annapurna Himalayas range. After the peaceful pagoda, you will hike through the beautiful forest and you will reach Lukum Swara village. At the end of the day, you will climb to the Bhumdi village where you can have a chance to see the Gurung and Brahmin villages and learn about the local ethnic cultures and interact with locals.

BHUMDI TO PANCHASE BHANJYANG [2065M ALTITUDE]: B/L/D/A

Early morning in Bhumdi village you will be walking through the beautiful forest and you will encounter the Dhaulagiri- Annapurna Himalayas throughout the various point of the jungle. This day will be good for nature lover trekkers because you will encounter diverse flora and fauna found in the Annapurna region of Nepal. If you are lucky, you will encounter monkeys, various types of birds, and their songs from the corner of the jungle, and also rhododendron forests are memorizing to see. After some hour’s walk, you will reach Thulunchour village and will continue your forest walk until you reached Panchase Bhanjyang which is 2065m altitude. From Panchase Bhanjyang, it is the best place to view the whole Annapurna Dhaulagiri Himalayan range, some views of Pokhara city and Phewa Lake will be squeezed as a small pond on your eyes view.

PANCHASE BHANJYANG TO BHADAURE VILLAGE [2500 M ALTITUDE]: B/L/D/A

Early morning, we will hike the traditional stone steps up to the Panchase peak which is situated at 2,500m from sea level which is the highest point of this trek. From the Panchase viewpoint, if you are lucky and on time, as a bonus gift, you can see the beautiful sunrise. This scene is very spectacular and slowly the sun’s rays will be on the Annapurna Himalayan range turning it into a golden color that is beyond the imagination. Our overnight will be at Bhadaure village where Gurung people live with their unique culture.

BHADAURE TO SARANGKOT HILL TOP [1515M ALTITUDE] B/L/D/A

Early morning your day starts with a panoramic view of the snow-capped mountain from Dhampus Village & Sunrise from Australian Base Camp.  After the sunrise, the step-down walk from the Dhampus and continue walking down to Kande & Naudanda. You can have a chance to say hi to local villagers, Nepali farmers, and lovely Children on the hiking route. From Naudanda you will hike through the beautiful Kaskikot village and finally reach Sarangkot & stay overnight at the beautiful guest house

EXPLORATION DAY AT SARANGKOT & VISITING COMMUNITY PROJECT: B/L/D/A

Early morning, we will go for the stunning sunrise view & mountain views from Sarangkot hill station, we will visit the various social projects based in Sarangkot village by hiking. We will learn more about Arabica coffee farming and the entire coffee processing method by visiting a non-profit community-based organization at Padeli Village. We will meet with small coffee farmers and understand their challenges in organic Coffee farming and Beekeeping. We will also taste the organic coffee produced locally and learn about the environmental aspect of Beekeeping & Arabica coffee farming to cope with climate change.
