Arrive in Phoenix mid-morning and depart for Tucson. Upon arriving, tour White Stallion Ranch, where the personal touch and hospitality of a traditional dude ranch is carefully blended with the service and amenities of a fine resort. Next, tour the Desert Sonoran Museum, a fusion experience including a zoo, botanical garden, art gallery & classes, natural history museum, and aquarium. A tour of the Presidio, a re-creation of a Spanish fort built in 1775, is included before enjoying a delicious dinner at La Cocina Restaurant and Cantina. Check into the Desert Diamond Hotel and Casino for the evening.
Breakfast is included at the hotel before departing for Bisbee Arizona. Discover the old -world beauty of this quaint mining town, nestled in the mile-high Mule Mountains of southern Arizona. Then step into the Wild West in the historic city of Tombstone, the Town too Tough to Die.
Continue to Mesa and check into the DoubleTree. Dinner and entertainment are included this evening at Organ Stop Pizza, home of the Mighty Wurlitzer Pipe Organ.
Breakfast is included this morning. Then continue along the Apache Trail to Dolly Steamboat. This mild adventure navigates the scenic and winding road to Canyon Lake, framed by giant saguaro cacti and amber, red hills. Board the Dolly Steamboat for a 90 minute narrated cruise of the secluded waterways of the "Junior Grand Canyon". Lunch is included before the FAM concludes with a service project at Feed My Starving Children.
5:00pm ~ Conference begins! Gather together for a Welcome Reception.
A continental breakfast sponsored by Shared Departures by MARS is included this morning. The Conference begins with a keynote speaker followed by a breakout session by category (Operators, Hotels, DMOs, Attractions) and an industry panel discussion. A sponsored lunch follows before the floor opens for the trade show with door prizes this afternoon. This evening, a fabulous dinner is included, sponsored by Visit Mesa.
Accent Supports Local Breakfast is included. Itinerary Planning begins. During the session, operators and suppliers brainstorm to create new, unique itineraries based on what they learned at the trade show. Each group presents their itinerary to the entire group. To conclude, delegates discuss Accent take-aways and Shout-Outs before the conference ends.
