All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE three business days after purchase and agreement to Booked by Iman LLC's terms and conditions.
All other monthly installment payments, with the exception of payment processing fees, for Booked by Iman, LLC’s group trips are refundable up to 100 days prior to the trip start date. 99 days or less prior to the group trip start date, all payments are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Transfers of any payment amount to another participant or Booked by Iman, LLC group trip, custom itinerary, and/or travel related service are made at the sole discretion of Booked by Iman, LLC.

Accra City Tour
We'll see all the highlights of Accra, from Independence Square and Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum to Ghana’s National Museum and the W.E.B. DuBois Memorial Center for Pan-African Culture. We'll also explore Makola Market, one of the largest and most colorful markets in Africa.
Batik Dyeing Class
Ghana is known for its unique batik designs. Batik is the process of creating designs using wax. Create your own design and take home a unique print of your own.
AfroFuture Festival
Watch the hottest African artists perform up close and personal with VIP tickets to AfroFuture. The festival is a lively celebration of African music, art, fashion, and food with pavilions filled with delicious African cuisine and thrilling concerts featuring well-known Afrobeats artists.
Enjoy a free morning on your own. We'll meet in the evening to ring in the New Year at a one of the best New Year's Eve parties in town.
Dress up and be prepared to count down to the new year in a city that will be exploding with activity. Enjoy uniquely Ghanaian nightlife and experiences you will long remember.

Traditional Naming Ceremony
We will have the opportunity to participate in a Traditional Naming Ceremony, where each participant will be given a traditional Asante name based on his/her day of birth and welcomed into his/her “adopted” family with dance and celebration .
Remembrance Ceremony at Assin Manso “Slave River”
Visit Assin Manso, or slave river, where enslaved Africans were forced to wash after their long march, which could take as long as six months, from as far away as Nigeria to the coast of Ghana.
Cape Coast Slave Dungeon
We will have a guided tour through Cape Coast Slave Dungeon, infamous as the place where the largest number of enslaved Africans were housed before shipment to the Americas.
Kakum National Park
Take a stroll along the famous canopy bridge at this rainforest, which is home to many endangered species.
Farewell Dinner
We'll end our trip with a farewell dinner on the beach. Enjoy a tasty buffet and exciting cultural performances.
Depart Ghana with new travel buddies and lifelong memories. Transportation from Elmina to the airport in Accra (3.5 hr drive) is provided by African Connections.
