SKAGWAY: Skagway Tour & Summit Overlook = $89 USD Per Person *** BEST SELLER ***

This is the ideal tour for the traveler seeking a short, but in-depth look at Skagway’s natural and historical wonders. This tour showcases the best of everything that has made Skagway famous and parallels much of the train route to the White Pass Summit and beyond. Historical highlights include Brackett’s Toll Road, Dead Horse Gulch, and spectacular views of the White Pass Rail. Also included is a visit to the Gold Rush Cemetery where the legendary Soapy Smith was laid to rest. There will be plenty of photo opportunities, so be sure to bring along your camera. This means you’re a leisurely traveler. You typically take it easy and discover the energy of a new place by people-watching or soaking in the atmosphere at a local café. You can climb at least one flight of stairs, board a coach, and walk unassisted at a relaxed pace for up to 60 minutes without difficulty. You can easily handle altitudes up to 5,000 feet.

Triple accommodations are limited and will be confirmed upon request and availability from the cruise line.

Single accommodations are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Single rate subject to change based on availability.

To complete your tour, we include round-trip airport-to-hotel transfers when purchasing our airfare with your tour. If you have arranged for your own air, we are pleased to provide you the option of purchasing these transfers. Please note that all transfers will leave at pre-scheduled times.

Taxes and fees starting from $545 USD per person (subject to change without advance notice), quoted at time of booking, are payable at time of final payment. Single cabins, if confirmed, are higher.

Prior to full payment for the tour, the cruise line reserves the right to impose a supplemental fuel charge. Should this occur, you will be notified of the additional charges.

Onboard gratuities are not included in the price of your tour. For your convenience, Holland America Cruise Lines automatically applies a $17.00 USD, quoted at time of printing, per traveler per day service charge to your shipboard account. All of the service personnel on board receive gratuities from this service charge and there is no need for you to think about additional tipping. Separately, an 18% gratuity is added for bar drinks and spa services.

A deposit of $898 per person is due upon reservation. Reservations are made on a first come, first served basis. Reservations made after the seat reduction date of November 23, 2025 are based upon availability. Final payment due by April 30, 2026. Deposits are refundable up until November 30, 2025.

A Real ID compliant form of identification must be presented both at the time of booking air travel with Collette and upon checking in at the airport to board any flight. State-issued driver’s licenses and IDs that are not REAL ID compliant are no longer accepted as valid forms of identification at airports. Any fees associated with changing a reservation resulting from a non-compliant identification will be the responsibility of the traveler. Air seat changes can only be attempted by individual passengers once "e-tickets" have been received.  E-Tickets are generally not available until 14 days prior to departure; thus, air seat changes might be difficult due to time constraints.

CANCELATIONS WITHOUT TRAVEL PROTECTION (TPP)

After your seat reduction date has passed (180 days prior to trip date), a non-refundable deposit will be retained.

- Cancelation between 90-16 days prior to departure: cancellation fee of 40% of total price.

- Cancelation between 15-1 days prior to departure: cancellation fee of 75% of total price.

- Cancelation on the day of departure and after: 100% of total price.

- If Travel Protection Plan has not been purchased and a reservation is cancelled for any reason prior to departure - Air is 100% non-refundable once paid in full.

CANCELATIONS WITH TRAVEL PROTECTION (TPP)

If Travel Protection Plan has not been purchased and a reservation is cancelled for any reason prior to departure - Air is 100% non-refundable once paid in full. Cancellation charges also apply to reservations made for "pre" and "post" night accommodations. Payment of a Per Person Travel Protection Plan Fee guarantees a full refund of all payments (including deposit), except the Travel Protection Plan Fee itself, made to American Tours for travel arrangements in case of cancellation of your travel plans for any reason prior to the day of departure. The Travel Protection Plan Fee with Air only covers airline tickets you have purchased from Collette. Exception: If you originally purchased nonrefundable airline tickets, Part B of the Travel Protection Plan may provide a refund for the airline tickets, taxes, or fees in the event of a cancellation for a covered reason (see Part B for more details). The Travel Protection Plan Fee does not cover any single supplement charges which arise from an individual’s traveling companion electing to cancel for any reason prior to departure. However, the Part B travel insurance includes a single supplement benefit of $1,500 for certain covered reasons as detailed in Part B. In this case, the single supplement will be deducted from the refund of the person who cancels. Division of this charge between the two passengers involved is solely their responsibility. If insufficient funds are deducted from the canceling client, the traveling client will be charged the remaining portion of the single supplement. Cancellation waiver protects you from penalties in the event you have a need to cancel your entire inclusive tour package up to the day prior to departure. Cancellation waiver does not indemnify you from penalties if you chose to cancel partial tour components or air. If you chose to partially cancel your vacation, you will be responsible for a revision fee as well as any penalties that are incurred at the time of the cancellation. Upon cancellation of transportation or travel services where you, the customer, are not at fault and have not canceled in violation of the terms and conditions above, you will be refunded 100%.
