We'll give you a brief but engaging cultural orientation session to ensure you're fully immersed in the local culture. For those who arrive later, we understand that you might want to hit the hay, and we'll make sure to get you settled in quickly so you can rest up for the exciting days ahead.

Explore Accra

Embark on a thrilling adventure today as you explore the vibrant capital of Ghana, Accra. Your journey will begin at the Makola Market, the heart of Accra's bustling shopping district. Here, you'll witness Ghanaians' daily hustle and bustle as they bargain and barter for various products. 


From there, you'll visit the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum in Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, which honors Ghana's independence leader and first president, Kwame Nkrumah. Your guide will share fascinating insights into his life and legacy. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the newly renovated Ghana National Museum, which showcases Ghana's rich cultural heritage and history from pre-colonial times to the present. 


In the evening, you'll be treated to the AfroFuture celebration, where you'll immerse yourself in Africa's diverse and vibrant culture. Experiencing Ghana

Discover Ghana's vibrant culture and rich history with a guided tour designed to immerse you in the local way of life. Begin your day at the W.E.B. Du Bois Centre, where you'll explore the fascinating life and legacy of this influential Pan-Africanist figure. Then, head to Jamestown, a picturesque fishing village home to the Jamestown Lighthouse and Ussher Fort, where you'll learn about the area's history and the ways of life of the local people. You'll even see the fishermen's wives preparing and smoking their husbands' catch! After a delicious lunch, explore Independence Square and its iconic monuments to Ghana's independence struggle, including the Independence Arch and the Black Star Gate. Finally, end your night experiencing the excitement of AfroFuture, an unforgettable event described by many as even better than Coachella. With a dedicated driver to take you to and from each activity, you can relax and enjoy every moment of your unforgettable tour. Please note that dinner is not included on this day.

Explore Lome

This morning, you'll journey into Togo and explore Lome city on a tour. Lome is a small but busy capital city with a deepwater port and palm-lined Atlantic coastline. You'll visit the Independence Monument, Togo National Museum, and the largest voodoo market in Togo and Benin, the Fetish Market of Akodessawa. Here, you'll see unique products used for traditional voodoo practices. Learning about the country's culture and history is a great opportunity.

Explore Ganvie: The Venice of Africa

Get ready for an unforgettable travel experience! Today, you will embark on a journey to Ganvie, one of the most iconic attractions of Benin. This photogenic village, often called the "Venice of West Africa," is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves to explore unique cultures and traditions. With its stilted and floating homes that have been home to the locals for hundreds of years, Ganvie is a feast for the eyes. Take a boat tour of the village and be prepared to capture countless Instagrammable moments that will leave your friends and family envious. Explre Ouidah: The Door of no Return

Today, you'll visit Ouidah, a town known for its voodoo tradition and the transatlantic slave trade. The Slave Route, which led enslaved people to ships, is marked by monuments leading to the Door of No Return. You'll also visit the Ouidah Museum of History, in an 18th-century Portuguese fort, which chronicles the city's slave-trading past. After that, you'll cross the border into Togo, passing through customs before visiting the Maison d'Esclaves in Agbodrafo, the last slave institution in Togo. This journey provides a unique opportunity to reflect on past injustices and appreciate the resilience of those who survived.

Welcome back to Ghana! Today's journey will take you to Accra, where you will have the entire day. You can catch up on some rest or talk to your guide about other exciting activities in the area. As the evening approaches, get ready to experience the vibrant nightlife of Accra. Please note that lunch and dinner are not included on this day, but don't worry; plenty of options are available. Get ready to immerse yourself in the culture and energy of Accra and make your trip memorable!

Explore Cape Coast

Are you ready for a truly unforgettable experience? Today, you'll visit St. George's Castle in Elmina, the oldest European building in Sub-Saharan Africa, built-in 1482. This UNESCO World Heritage Site has been the site of many historic events over the centuries and has changed hands multiple times. You'll even have the chance to stand at the "point of no return," where captive enslaved people once stood before being transported to the Americas. Later on, you'll also get to tour the Cape Coast Castle, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, now a museum dedicated to slavery and European colonization. After this once-in-a-lifetime experience, you can return to your accommodation for a well-deserved rest and prepare for tomorrow's activities. While dinner won't be included today, don't worry - your guide will be happy to suggest a range of options for you to choose from in Cape Coast. Join us on an adventure to Kakum National Park, where you'll encounter seven rope bridges in the forest canopy. Accompanied by a park ranger, you'll cross each bridge, taking in the breathtaking surroundings of the forest. This is the perfect opportunity to witness some of the best birdwatching in the world and spot antelopes, monkeys, and other fascinating animals. After exploring the park, head to Global Mamas Cooking Workshop, where you'll learn how to cook traditional Ghanaian dishes from your hospitable host. Experience a unique cultural experience today with a Sankofa ceremony, where the local chief and elders will give you a traditional name.
